TechMatte Non-Magnetic 2-in-1 Cap Charging Adapter Compatible with Apple Pencil 1st Generation, Female to Female Charger Connector Cap (2-Pack)

I grabbed this back in September after getting tired of digging around in my bag looking for the adapter and I could not be more pleased. It's so easy to use and I typically just leave it on the pencil. The grip to help keep it on is a bit powerful so the cap tends to come off if you are trying to take the grip off to charge with but it's a minor complaint, especially in comparison to the ease it offers me. Plus, I never have to worry that the cap is going to go missing! The magnetic ring fell out a day or two ago but the cap is fitted so well to the pencil that I didn't even recognize what had happened until I was taking the photos. It's also sustained a tiny fracture on the side but charging has been unaffected and the damage seems to be superficial.

This adaptor doesn't fit snugly on the Apple Pencil. And pressure whatsoever will cause it to disconnect from the lightning plug on the end of the pencil. And as it is not magnetic, it cant be used as a permanent cap for the Apple Pencil as if you even move it fast or with even a small amount of speed and force it will fall off. It is also quite temperamental as to whether it will even charge properly.

I have purchased this product several times because I do not like plugging my pencil into the iPad port to charge. The cap is so convenient and works great. My only complaint is that the cap cracks easily and then becomes loose. I rarely take the cap off so I am not sure what causes the cracking. I bought this one in December and it was cracked by February. I don’t see anything else like this so I keep buying them, but I wish they were made with a better material that didn’t crack so easily.

Both items in the two pack cracked immediately. One came cracked. Although they still work, the cracks continue to get larger and made it very loose so that removing the dust cap to use the port is difficult.

These work but they are thinner than the Apple product and break. I wish they held up better as they make charging the apple pencil so much easier!
