AtmosFX Ghostly Apparitions Digital Decorations DVD for Halloween Holiday Projection Decorating

This is probably one of the coolest things I've ever bought! My setup is pretty simple, I got a mini projector and plugged it into my blu-ray player via HDMI and a roll of white plastic tablecloth which I cut to fit my large front window. Cost effective AND functional, just what I needed. There's nothing like seeing this in person, though. Pictures and videos don't do it justice. Even the advertisement video had me hooked (and obviously made me buy it) but it's just so much cooler to actually see in person. There's plenty of variety and everything is bright, clear, and even realistic depending on which one is playing. The noises are pretty freaky too which will be great for trick or treaters! I recommended this to everyone who has seen it so far and I look forward to getting more of these DVDs in the future.

Top notch Atmosfx product as usual, had lots of options for a DVD, great Quality.

High quality graphics worthy of professional (i.e. "paid") Halloween venues. Excellent production values and excellent range of options. Four different characters. Can be played individually or sequentially. Each character can be played as a "roaming" ghost, emerging from a wall, or appearing suddenly for a shocking scare. Each can be played with or without a background, if you want to try for a Pepper's Ghost-type effect. Each can be played in a horizontal or vertical orientation; the vertical being useful for narrow windows, picture frames, doorways, etc. The effects can be projected directly onto a wall, rear-projected onto a screen or shim, or displayed by a monitor or TV. When you consider most of the competitors' downloads offer only a single one-or-two minute scene of inferior quality without the options listed above and charge $20 or more, you start to see the value this product offers. Highest recommendation.

Although a bit expensive this DVD is awesome if you love Halloween and have a decent sized window and a cheap projector. Don't listen to the people telling you it needs to be 1800+ lumens. Those are pretty expensive. I bought a 1200 lumen projector for $80 here on Amazon and it works great in my front window. I used plastic painter's drop cloth over the window. The picture seems a bit blurry because of the image movement but trust me it looks great in person. I actually appreciate that the effect is a bit expensive, yet still affordable. Most people won't spend that much on a Halloween effect because they don't value it...it just means less people are likely to have the effect. Remember how lame it was once every other house started decorating with a witch that was splatted on a tree/the side of the house? I don't want that to happen with this. In other words, I'd rather pay a bit more for an effect that most people aren't willing to spend $40 on. It could be worse, they could be charging $100 for the effect and then only pro-haunters would be buying it. At any rate, the effect is well worth the money. I've posted some videos of test runs I've done at home and I've gotten a lot of positive responses. The only other time I've received as much feedback is when I posted pics the day my first child was born. I had a neighbor walking by while I was testing (at midnight) and he actually stopped to watch it and said, "now that's pretty cool". He's never said more than "hi" to me before that. I'm using the DVD by projecting it onto the back of the mini blinds in our upstairs window. I'm using an Optima PK301 (not the brightest) and it looks amazing. The lighting seems to be just bright enough to make the images subtle, but very much noticible. It looks like the ghosts are 3D. I also used a projector screen I made using a frosted shower curtain and PVC pipe and it looked really good projecting through the back of that, but it looked like I had a GIANT TV in my front window, and the neighborhood isn't safe enough to let people assume that. Maybe next year after we move. I don't recommended this to anybody who lives around me because I want it all for myself. I do recommend it to everybody else...you may regret it when you first pop in the DVD, but you won't regret it once you see people react to the effect. The reaction you get from this effect is the reason why we home haunters do what we do.

The DVD has alotta options for how you are projecting it, which is nice since some people go through a window, some play on a TV, some want a vertical door, others a horizontal window. All of this makes sure that the projection is upside down, sideways, backwards, etc. There is only like 15 minutes of footage which just repeats, but that's fine since people aren't going to stand in front of my house for that long watching. If they keep the price down at 15 then I think this is a great deal but since I paid 35 for it I feel ripped off

When the dvd arrived, I couldn't wait to check it out in person. I checked out the previews on the different sites before I ordered to see if it was what I was looking for, for my halloween parties I organize each year and the previews looked really good. When I checked it out at home, I got to say, It's even better then I thought. So many different options on how to show all the different sections, I now just wish I had more copies of it to use in all the different areas that I could use them in. Great for in windows as shone in the previews, throughout the building on the walls for ghost coming through, and my biggest thing is for projecting onto smoke/fog clouds outdoors for the hollowgraphic effects. If you're setting up a haunted house or yard area, this is what you want. Not like many others around that's geared more for kids, this is more adult, scarier and evil looking, professional style. This IS Great!!! Highly recomended!!!

This is just the best for Halloween! Some crazy kid said our graveyard wasn't scary enough. The next year, we plugged this video into our computer, hooked up the projector and pointed it on to a white sheet we hung in front of the window, with a little speaker facing the outside. Those little kids just stood with shocked and aww. One princess came up to the front door and pointed at the window with her mouth open. Her dad had to remind her to say, trick or treat. She couldn't do it! We asked that same kid (from the year before) and his 6 buddies if it was scary now? He said, "YES! I told EVERYONE to go to your house! I can't wait to see what's going to happen next year!!" Oh geez... next year? But hey, we love that little brat (he came by three times that night with different masks), so here's to next year... Maybe a fog machine...

Ich mache jedes Jahr eine umfangreiche "Installation" als Halloween Deko, so auch in 2021. Dabei läuft ein selbstkomponierter Soundtrack synchronisiert mit Licht, Nebel und Bewegungseffekten (Servos an Skeletten etc.) ab (siehe Video, das einen Ausschnitt zeigt). Meine Frau hat mich auf die DVD von AtmosFear aufmerksam gemacht und ich habe diese nur wenige Tage vor Halloween bestellt und recht schnell geliefert bekommen. Die DVD enthält eine Reihe von Clips für verschiedene Anwendungsarten: + Im Fenster + Im Türrahmen + Auf einer Wand jeweils wahlweise mit Hintergrund oder ohne. Die Clips sind zwischen ca. 10 Sekunden und 1 Minute lang. Die DVD kann im Dauermodus abgespielt werden. Für meine Zwecke habe ich das für mich passende Material rausgeschnitten (mit externem Equipment), um es synchron einzubauen und über Cubase mit meinem Sound und den DMX-Lichteffekten laufen zu lassen. Die Clips selbst haben eine Sounduntermalung, die ich teilweise genutzt habe, teilweise ausgeblendet habe. Die Sounds sind ok, mir aber teilweise etwas zu "trashig" - ich stehe mehr auf Halloween im Cinema-Style statt mit nervigen Schreien usw. 😊. Was wirklich toll ist an den Clips: Die Figuren sind sehr schön losgelöst vom Hintergrund und erscheinen und verschwinden sehr gut ohne harte Kanten zu den Bildrändern. Damit sehen diese wie Hologramme aus. Ich habe zur Projektion weißes Fliegengitter (Gasefenster) hinter das Fenster geklebt, das ich auch bei Amazon bestellt habe und das ganze dann per Beamer (billiges Gerät, nichts besonderes) angestrahlt. Ein zusätzlich genialer Effekt ist, dass der feine Nebel einer meiner im Einsatz befindlichen Nebelmaschinen auch noch durch das Fenster hindurch angestrahlt wird und die Hologramme dann fast etwas plastisch wirken. Außerdem denkt man, dass die Strahlquelle außen ist und nicht von innen kommt. Es sieht ein wenig so aus wie in einem Autokino wenn etwas Nebel ist. Toller Effekt! Eine Herausforderung ist, dass vom Beamer auf der Fensterscheibe Reflexionen auftreten, da die Fliegengitter natürlich den Großteil des Lichts durchlassen und dieses auf der Fensterscheibe teilweise durchgeht und teilweise reflektiert wird. Das reflektierte Licht gibt dann auf der Zimmerwand eine vergrößerte Darstellung der Figuren im Hintergrund. Wenn man den Beamer etwas schräg von unten auf das Fenster leuchten lässt, dann kann man die Reflexion Richtung Decke verlagern, was ich schöner fand. Insgesamt ist das eine tolle DVD und der recht hohe Preis rechtfertigt sich durch das wirklich gute Videomaterial. Auch oder gerade wenn man nicht so einen umfassende Deko und Show macht wie ich, dann kann man damit beeindruckende Effekte erzeugen im Innenraum und Außen. Für mich daher ganz klar volle fünf Sterne ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ich hoffe, die Bewertung war für Sie nützlich und es gibt in Zukunft immer mehr Irre wie mich, die an Halloween Vollgas geben 😊
