Carbeth Plants Mushroom Growing Kit

I am sorry it is a Christmas present for my son but it looks good and arrived on time

It's been two weeks and no mushrooms despite following instructions to the letter. I do have white powder stuff showing but there's no sign of mushroom growth. Also, what I didn't realise and it isn't mentioned, is that the stuff stinks! I live in a small flat and the smell is in every room. I can't open a window as it's January. I won't be buying these again, which is a shame as I was looking forward to home grown mushrooms.

Very happy indeed

Good

I’d give it zero if I could. Followed the instructions to the letter and got no activity at all. A total waste of time and money.

Quite basic for the price, more cost efficient to source individually

These are great to show kids how mushrooms 🍄 grow. It helps them to understand the process of Time in relation to buying a punnet from the supermarket, why they cost what they do, how long it takes until the mushrooms are ready for harvest. Plus they were actually very tast!

Second venture into growing mushrooms, used a different brand last time and had loads of crops, this time and this brand 7 mushrooms in total and that was it. Very disappointing. Same place, same conditions as the last lot, so not sure what went wrong here. What did grow, was a very good size and flavour, but worked out over a £1 a mushroom, so not great on balance.
