How do these hook up without a hot water tank?

this takes the place of a hot water tank. there are connections for the water and gas and one plug to an outlet. it heats the water as it passes through the unit.

Can it run for 2 hours without stoping?

I have not run it 2 hours but it made it through 1 hour and with people flushing and turning on the sink.

2 questions. does the fan run continuously? Is there a 12v version? thanks

Hello. Yes, when the I12-LP is heating water, the fan will run. There is no 12v version of this model. Does it run on propane? It came up in my search for propane tankless water heaters but it's not labled as such.

Yes, this uses propane and is labeled as such. LP means liquid propane. And the item description says, "Rated at an impressive 3 GPM, the Eccotemp I12-LP tankless water heater is a liquid Propane fired..."GadgetsGo is an Authorized Eccotemp Dealer.Kind Regards,RossGadgetsGo
