I''m a Gemini. Impulsive. Curious. Headstrong. A twin. Heir to a throne I know nothing about. And it turns out, I''m Fae. But of course there''s a catch - all I have to do to claim my birth right is prove that I''m the most powerful supernatural in the whole of Solaria. And sure, technically that''s true as I''m the daughter of the Savage King. But the bit they didn''t put in the brochure was that every single Fae in this Kingdom would claim my throne if they could. The school they''ve sent me to is both dangerous as sh*t and one helluva party. Vampires bite weaker students in the corridors, the Werewolf pack has orgies in the Wailing Wood at every full moon and don''t even get me started on the dark and twisted ways the Sirens use their powers on people''s emotions, or how my sinfully tempting Cardinal Magic teacher hosts detentions that leave people needing therapy. Classes are totally interesting if you manage to live through them. And that Gemini star sign I mentioned? It now determines my elemental magic and affects my destiny, so learning astrology is essential if I''m going to beat down my classmates - which is actively encouraged by the way. My biggest problem is the drool worthy Dragon shifter who has his eyes on my throne. He and his three psycho friends are determined to make my time here hell. All I''ve got to do is survive. But fate might have other ideas. Dammit, why couldn''t I have gotten a letter to Hogwarts? Review: Totly hooked!! - Omg...this storyline is just so darn addictive!! Tbh atfirst i had a bit of trouble keeping in track with which sister's which. But the twins have such different personalities I got over that problem in no time. This was already hinted in the Ruthless boys...but this is better than i expected. Can't wait to find out what happens next. Review: Fae bad boys, magic, hormones and bad coping skills - This book isn’t for you if you're looking for something reflective or emotionally deep. But it delivers plenty of drama, tension, mystery, and intrigue, and it keeps you turning pages even while you're side-eyeing half the characters. Solaria is weirdly and unnecessarily brutal, and the Vega twins are put through far too much for what’s essentially a magical high school (or college?) setup. Still, their resilience makes them easy to root for. These girls are literally dragged through the mud. I found it hard to tell the twins apart at first... their voices are too similar. I had to keep checking the chapter headings to remember whose thoughts I was reading. There are definitely some cringey tropes. Some casual misogyny, and a whole lot of insta-lust with the Heirs that borders on uncomfortable. At least the twins acknowledge how irrational it is in their internal monologues. My headcanon is that the attraction is entirely magical coercion and not actual chemistry. If the Heirs are endgame, I want real grovelling; though I’m not expecting it. As a first book juggling a large cast and setting up a long series, it works well enough for me. I’m already halfway through pouring myself another glass of this chaotic koolaid. I’m looking forward to seeing the twins grow stronger through all the hardship, to their bond deepening, and hopefully to some genuine connections with their new friends (no betrayals from Sofia and Diego, please). Onwards!

This was a great start an epic story . I can’t wait to know more and be more immersed in the world of Solaria.

Good start but confusing
There were so many characters and I was most of the times confused who was who. The story could have been much simpler, resembled harry potter to some extent which was nice and made me finish it. But I'm still not attached to any character so far.

Fantasy
Orphan twins struggling to settle in foster homes to have a roof over their heads. Their whole life turned upside down when An opportunity knocked on their door. Turns out they're fae princesses who are heirs to the magic world throne. Now The Vega twins have to fight for inheritance to survive along with learning their long lost magic. Well obviously there are other heirs who are now jealous that there are 2 new components to fight against. Vampires, werewolves faes and other supernatural entities. Bully romance, politics and other elements keep the reader engaged. I love fantasy with twists and turns, this might be my next fav. All in for more adventurous, dark and tense read.

ADDICTIVE
I don't remember the last time I used the word “𝐃𝐄𝐕𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃” in my book recommendations, but that's exactly what I did with this book. To say that I'm 𝐎𝐁𝐒𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 with this series would be the understatement of the year. I literally can't stop thinking about it-it has become my entire personality. If bullying is a trigger for you, consider this your warning. I was able to handle most of the torment the twins faced, but the last few chapters had me wanting to kill the Heirs-literally. 𝗔𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗜'𝗺 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗹'𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 (#𝗶𝘆𝗸𝘆𝗸) I love both twins, but I have such a girl crush on Tory now. The world-building is simply amazing-the academy gave me Harry Potter vibes. Not to mention there's a wide range of supernatural beings, from vampires, sirens, and werewolves to unicorns. I can't wait to read the rest of the series, and I have a feeling this is going to be one of my top five series of all time! I'd recommend this book without a second thought.

Wow! If this series isn't in your TBR list then it needs to be!
On reread :- This was a reread for me 😍🔥 and I enjoyed it just as much as the first time or even more, because the first time I devoured it so fast and now I took my time with it. Meeting these characters once again brought me so much joy. I was just smiling at some of their interactions, especially now that I know where their journeys lead to, I am even more excited to get to the rest of the series. I can happily say that this series was and still remains to be my all time favourite. It's like coming back home every time. First time :- Seriously, why haven't I read this book before? It's soo good. I really like the twins. Can't wait to dive into the next one.

Zodiac Academy: The Awakening is a wild, fast-paced ride into a magical world filled with elemental powers, academy politics, and seriously intense characters. The twin protagonists are easy to root for, and the enemies-to-lovers vibes add plenty of tension and drama. It's definitely got a bit of a dark edge, so be prepared for some harsh moments and morally gray characters. If you like magic schools, sassy heroines, and complicated romance, this book is hard to put down. A bit of a guilty pleasure, but in the best way.

So addicting !!
Dark , funny, sexy and absolutely fantastic ... My first book by this two authors and I fell in love ... I fell in love with Tory and Darius, I fell in love with the story.. I laugh.. a lot .. I cringe.. a lot too .. It’s not a nice love story where everything is pink .. it’s hard and a real BULLY story .. but it’s amazing. The story is dark and addicting, the characters endearing and so funny, the romance is ... slow.. but we are going to wait... I loved it !

Trigger Warning : bullying, emotional abuse, physical abuse, violence, abandonment, death, toxic relationships, body shaming, sexual harassment I think I DNF’d this book at 15-20% at least 3 times. The writing takes a minute to get used to, at least for me. I also am just not a fan of the bully trope. It just rubs me the wrong way, but I am happy I finally gave it a real chance. This book falls under the “ not a masterpiece but it’s 5 stars “ category, for me. The entire magic system is unique, the fact that everyone is Fae but there are different categories i.e. werewolves, gorgons, nemean lions. I like how what your classification of Fae is gives you different powers on top of your elemental designation. I really enjoyed diving into this world. I can’t wait to see how it develops in the next book. Darcy and Tory feel like real, identical twins. They’re alike, but different and not in the stereotypical way that I feel like twins are usually portrayed in media. They both have their own individual faults and strengths, while still having shared traits. I do feel like their character growth is a little limited in this book, but I think that makes sense in the context of the book since Tory and Darcy are in a new world and trying to get their bearings. The Heirs. The authors do a good job of humanizing them enough that you never entirely despise the heirs, but that ending was rough to read. Using Darcy and Tory’s greatest fears against them is a pretty dark way to try to get them to submit to them. It also doesn’t make sense to me that the Heirs just won’t accept that Darcy and Tory have no interest in the throne. No matter how many times they tell them that they’re just here to collect their inheritance the Heirs refuse to listen. It feels like all of the bullying could’ve been avoided. Geraldine. I usually don’t single out side characters in my reviews, but wow this girl is just so cringe. I can’t decide if I love her or hate her all I know is she definitely gives me second hand embarrassment. That in and of itself is an achievement. The budding relationship between Orion and Darcy feels like what Pretty Little Liars was trying to do with Ezra and Aria. However, at least in this book Darcy is 18. I do kind of find it weird that as a teacher Orion is allowed to claim Darcy as his source. That seems like something that would be against the rules. I would compare this book to reality tv. It’s not the best writing, but it’s entertaining and highly addictive. I can’t wait to read the next one. Tropes : professor x student, bully romance, enemies to lovers, magical academy, found family, forbidden love, lost heirs//hidden royalty, slow burn, elemental magic, political intrigue, arranged marriage, fated mates
