Had to throw it out==Rancid
I was really looking forward to getting this and using it. If you purchase it, I would recommend that you keep it in the freezer. Since it is a seed, the oils can become rancid with time like any raw seed. Beware. Check when it comes to be sure of the freshness. I probably got an old package.

Spoiled item. NOT FRESH
Ground seed spice was received NOT FRESH, old and smelled expired. I’ve used this spice before and this was not fresh. And Amazon won’t take return of spoiled item. Poor customer service :(
