Out with the old and in with the new
Replaced my old cookbook (Better Homes and Gardren) that I have had since 1984 and was falling apart. Looks like the recipes are similar even though the index is different. Very thankful to have an updated edition.

Read used book descriptions carefully
It has the same recipes that I remember loving! The front cover was torn but it is a used book that is in good condition. I was surprised that it was the thicker paperback version but I don’t read the description thoroughly. I thought I was looking for the bigger, more user friendly hard back. Overall, great edition. Just wasn’t the form I would’ve liked.

Not the big binder cookbook. It's paperback size
It's a small paperback book. I thought it was the big binder size. My old eyes have a hard time reading it. Great recipes just hard to read

Good recipe book
Crammed pack full of recipes and helpful tips. Had to chuckle because this is a small paperback book. I was expecting it to be like my original one I got in 1994. It’s a gift so they’ll like it. But it is cute.

Very small
It’s very small and thick in size Makes it hard to open on the kitchen counter to follow the recipes I love the recipes but if you have sight issues this cookbook is not for you

Xmas present. Excellent recipes.
Have this book in hard cover. Was given to us as a xmas present years ago. All the grandchildren got a copy. This was a replacement copy for a family member who lost theirs in a fire.

Finally my own BH&G cookbook!
My mum had a BH&G cookbook but when she passed 23 years ago, my older brother wanted her cookbooks. I let him because at the time I didn’t really cook so didn’t realise the value of a great cookbook. Over the years I would remember things she used to make and it made me a bit sad that I didn’t know how to make them too. I moved to Australia over a decade ago and though the food here is phenomenal, it made me miss her cooking even more sometimes. I finally decided to look into purchasing my own copy of a BH&G cookbook. This isn’t the edition she had (hers was older) but I have found several recipes for my favourite dishes she used to make and now I can have a taste of mums homemade cooking again! So happy!

A Blast from the Past
Bought this as it was the cookbook my mother had growing up. It is deliciously from the 90s and I am so excited to make something from it. Also arrived much earlier than expected.

かなり基本的な事から載っているのでお料理初心者のバイブルになりうる本です。 カテゴリー分けされている構成もわかりやすく、レシピの数も多いので長く愛用することができると思います。 ただし勿論、和食系のレシピはありません。アメリカンな家庭料理の修行にはもってこいです！
