This lint filter was exactly what I needed to replace the worn-out one in my dryer. The compatibility with my LG dryer was spot on, and the fit is just like the original—no gaps or wobbling in the lint trap. The felt seal sits flush and does a good job keeping lint from slipping past the edges. I was pleasantly surprised by the material quality. It feels sturdy and well made, not flimsy or cheap like some replacement parts I’ve tried before. The included vent cleaner brush was a nice bonus and actually useful. For the price, this offers excellent replacement value. It works exactly as intended, installs easily, and restores proper airflow. If you’re replacing a damaged or worn lint screen, this one does the job without any issues. I try to review products I would definitely buy again. This falls into that category. Also, it weirdly doesn't collect as much junk as my old one. It collects lint not gunk.

It fit well. And after a few weeks of use looks good. At first it was a little tough to place in the slot, probably because I was used to the old one that was too loose. I think it is very good, virtually identical to OEM.

Keeping my old machine doing its thing at a good price. My Kenmore has the slightly larger trap size which has a felt seal along with small shape/design differences, this seller made it easy to differentiate via clear pictures between the two similarly shaped options. It's very hard to go wrong! I sought a replacement because the felt strip around my original screen is on its second repair and I think it's better to have another on hand. A slight difference in the lettering on top that assists orienting is the only noticeable difference from the original part. That, and it fits even more securely because the felt is in good shape lol. The body and screening are solidly made and look like they'll last well through the regular soap and water needed to remove dryer sheet residue. This screen is what I'd expect buying an OEM part (which are getting harder to find for my durable old machine) - but this nice little replacement doesn't have that price tag! The FELT: If you're looking at these I am betting that's what failed on your old screen. Although this part was designed with felt, it's possible to find versions of this without it - and they're usually even less expensive. DON'T do it! I've even found unofficial repair videos for my model where the felt is either just gone or it's stated it is unnecessary if it's damaged. This is NOT true and potentially dangerous. That little strip *seals your cabinet* as well as protecting your dryer ducting from combustible build up. No felt ensures a housing full of lint as well as the duct. Seriously dangerous if you aren't the type to regularly over-maintain, I sure only get into the housing when I need to fix something. I can say that my housing barely gets dusty inside and this nice little replacement looks to continue that easily. Almost forgot to mention the brush that came with this - because it's a solid little tool that has some difficulty with the descending 90 degree turn on my machine so it's not helpful there. However! It's a nice quality and I'm appreciating adding it to my cleaning tools.

After 10 years of family use, the felt seal on our dryer's lint screen began to separate from from the screen frame. This began allowing lint to get pass the screen and build up in the vent line running to the outside of the house. This replacement screen seems very well constructed and the felt seal is firmly glued in place. The first time we installed it, the fit of the screen was a bit tight (better tight than loose, right?!), but after a couple of loads it now slides in and out perfectly. The kit also comes with a vent brush that was very useful in cleaning lint out of the lint screen cavity. Given that dryer lint build up in the vent line can cause mechanical issues and even catch on fire, replacing the old screen with this new one makes us feel safer. Great product.

So I have a LG dryer model # DLG2302W where my lint filter was falling apart and I took a chance and bought one of these and it fits perfect just like new what a game changer for something I thought never could be replaced this filter took all of my worries away.

Although it is sold as an oem part, it fits poorly leaving gaps so a great amount of lint passes through the gaps
