Incredible Modeling Amp - I only have ONE criticism
Love this little guy. Lots of power and sound. As you probably can see ....tons of features. AND...they all work as advertised. Great looper with "quantize" built in. One drawback, not a deal breaker, but I wish the engineers would have put a rotator button to control drum beats and not the elementary school "tap" here button. Annoying. Overall though, this is a winner.

Good amp for battery powered applications
I bought the Vox Mini Go 10 as an upgrade to my older Vox Mini 5 Rhythm. Both have two inputs - for a guitar and mic. I’m really impressed with the new amp’s increased power and the inclusion of a looper function. The optional foot switch for controlling the looper and rhythm is also a great feature. Plus, the ability to power the amp via a USB-C cable is a huge plus. I was hoping for some new features in the rhythm section, but unfortunately, most rhythms seem pretty similar. Out of the 33 available rhythms, there’s only one 3/4 time. They’ve also removed the tempo dial and replaced it with a single button, likely so you can control the tempo with the optional foot switch. Regarding power, they’ve removed the internal battery but added the USB-C port. This port is only for providing external power to the amp, like using a auxillary phone battery. I tried to power it from my iPhone, but unfortunately, that didn’t work. I was able to power it from my MacBook. The amp has some smarts that determine the external battery’s current ability. If the external battery can’t deliver at least 2.5A, the amplifier drops to a lower power mode and shows this with a different color power-on LED. My external battery can only deliver 2.1A, so the amplifier won’t deliver the full 10W. The looper function is limited to 45 seconds. The only time I tried to use it, I went over that limit. I think 45 seconds is a bit too short. Some features that Vox should consider including are a Bluetooth interface and some downloadable loops or rhythms, along with apps for phones or tablets. I'd also suggest providing some way to store an external battery inside the amp. Overall the Vox Mini Go 10 is great for battery powered applications requiring both guitar and mic amplification.

This is an upgrade to one I had for years..
I’m only a home player.. I love these apms. Their very versatile and just a blast to play with.. the looper sold me on this model. Can’t go wrong for a small home type practice amp.

This is a great practice amp for home use.
This amp is full of effects and looping abilities, also has a drum machine built into the amp to either practice with, or to use the looping function with.

Pedal not included
The amp does well enough for its size but the primary reason I got it was for looping capability. The pedal pictured is an additional $70. Without a pedal to trigger loops, there is no point having this amp. I’ll update when I get the pedal and test it out.

This amp is light. I got a battery for it through Sweetwater. The effects and rhythm function are great.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have had both of the previous models , Da5, and the rythm 5. I don’t like that drum machine doesn’t have a tempo control knob . Also, there are less drum beats than the rythm 5. The lopper Feature is a nice touch . Definitely needs improvement on next model consider the price . 4 stars

Vraiment un ampli super, surtout pour les guitaristes solitaires, le top pour perfectionner le jeu en rythmes, jouer en mesure il y a un métronome, il y a un boîte à rythme largement suffisante pour se faire plaisir et même jouer devant un auditoire ( rue ou petite salle). Pour l'alimentation; câble secteur fourni, il faut vous procurer une petite batterie recharge usb qui n'est pas fourni avec. Voir infos sur la page. Et franchement ça fait le taf. Je joue dessus avec une guitare électrique Yamaha 311 . le pied.
