California Costumes Men's Robin Hood Adult

Overall it's a great costume. The parts are a long sleeve hoodie that is actually the best quality piece, it's comfortable and adjustable. It also comes with a messenger bag strap that is lower quality and kinda makes you sweat. Another piece is the gauntlets, which are good quality. There's also some boot covers that aren't that great. So overall you should get some better boots and a better belt. In the picture I also am wearing scrubs and a quiver and a bow and the mask that are not included.

The shirt was good and fit was as advertised. The shirt is one piece, not a shirt with separate vest. The belt and bag were on the cheap look so opted not to use them.

This outfit is amazing. I got many compliments on how amazing and authentic it looked. I am 5"8' at about 155lbs. This fit me perfectly. The vest's belts ended up being a bit long after connecting them, so I cut the ends off at an angle. Also, I paired it up with these items as good looking bow and arrow set. I usually prefer to make my costumes (or at least buy the parts separately and assemble it myself, so when I bought this costume that is where I was coming from. It arrived and first impressions where not so good, when I opened it, the material felt flimsy and thin and the belt was folded and twisted so much I didn't think I would be able to use it.It is also attached to the chest strap which was not shown in the pictures. After I had got it on it felt better, and I was feeling more optimistic, the fabric is thin and don't be fooled by the belt and boots, they are a fake, cheap leather. I wasn't exceedingly pleased, but from my previous experience with buying costumes this one is pretty much average. It was fine for Halloween, but I probably wont be wearing it again. If you like buying costumes, and are fine with thin fabric, this is a great costume, but it is by no means a sturdy, or high quality costume. I got a small adult for my son and it was a little big but other then that was perfect. He is between size boys 16 and adult small. Every child us different but there growing so size up. loves the costume so much and others he saw in the store that has his eyes on other characters already. Nice costumes they go fast. Good quality and came day of party. A week before the 31st. But just by a hr before his school party. He did not use it for the party but for Halloween was amazing. I will be ordering next year early. But for last min was more then perfect. Prime 2 day shipping. Happy mom cause my 12 yr old was over the moon. Ended up with 2 costumes.

Attractive and appealing costume. I'm 5'11" / 175, and the medium size fits me comfortably. The colors and basic appearance match the photo, and to my eye present a good image of "Robin Hood." The material is lightweight and the construction is cheap, which is no surprise at this price point — e.g., there's no edge stitching on the belt and strap, unlike in the photo, and the warning on the tag ("Do not wash. Do not dry. Do not clean.") tells you all you need to know about long-term durability. Still, it's not going to fall apart on you just putting it on or wearing it for a Halloween weekend. A few caveats: as others have noted, the shoulder strap doesn't actually wrap all the way around your back. It has velcro to hold it to the vest at the shoulder, but you may find yourself wanting to attach an additional length of fabric. The front buckles, unlike in the photo, aren't black on both sides, so the ends that hang loose might interfere with the look unless you color them over. The boot covers aren't scalloped around the edges as shown, and are probably the weakest-looking part; you might want to invest in a pair of actual costume boots instead. All that said, it's still a sharp-looking costume, easy to put on and comfortable to wear. Hard to beat at Amazon's price. Accessorize with a costume bow-and-arrow set, and you're good to go!

I'm giving this set five stars even though the material is cheap crappy stuff that has already ripped in one spot, for the money it is still a great value. I partied pretty hard with this on Saturday and ripped one of the boot covers a bit but still using it again tonight. Once Halloween is over I am really not sure if I will keep it or toss it... it looks pretty good and the fitment was fine but how many years will it be before I want to do Robin Hood or Green Arrow again? I don't know. In the packaging everything was wrapped such that the vinyl pieces would not get wrinkled... I doubt I will be able to package it as well myself to survive a couple years or more of storage. I kinda hate to perpetuate the whole throw-away-nation thing but this set is really borderline as to whether you'd really keep it and actually ever use it again. We'll see.

This is a great costume. The tunic, hood, boot covers and bracers are excellent. The size was a little smaller than I expected but I looked buff in the outfit so no complaints there. The belt/pouch, however, was totally unusable. The belt clip was probably for a 12 year old and the pouch was just folded pleather, not an actual thing to store anything you didn't want to drop out immediately. So I grabbed a leather belt and slid the pouch on there, wrapping it around my waist. The boot covers turned my regular black dress shoes into bandit footwear, so all I needed were some tan tapered pants and I was good! Oh, and I was going for Green Arrow, so I wore a black leather eye mask and I was either called Robin Hood, Arrow, or Green Arrow. Once somebody said Peter Pan, but I didn't let him live to tell another soul... Oh and the hood is down in my pic because it was a hot summer night inside a crowded bar during the second biggest bar crawl of the year.

Very good. A classy, realistic (kind of) Robin Hood Price of Thieves style Robin Hood costume rather than a Men in Tights style one. I wouldn't bother with the boots though if you have proper boots yourself.
