Use these dishes all week long.
My family uses these several times a week. Good quality, proportions that suit several purposes at meal time- pasta bowl, serving bowl and a great way to make oatmeal in the microwave- not cooking over.

Survived shipment intact
Bought these as a gift. My order was two sets of 8 salad/pasta bowls. Each set included 6 bowels in a box with 2 additional bowels enclosed in light bubble wrap in an oversized box. I was amazed the loose bowels were intact. Have not opened the boxes since no rattling to indicate breakage. Keeping the loose bowels since I use these more than the rest of my winter white set. Happy to add to my collection.

LIghtweight and bright, and the perfect size and shape
I've long liked Corelle, and though it is now made by a different manufacturer, I'm glad Corning came up with it. These particular bowls are just what I'd been looking for, and they aren't part of the standard dinner service. They are perfect for pasta, of course, but also will work for soup or a hefty salad. The lip of the bowl is high enough to keep things from slipping onto the table, and allow penne (for example) to slip neatly onto your fork, but low enough that you don't feel like you're excavating.

Versatile, classy, good for everything
These are wonderful pasta bowls. Use them ALL the time for EVERYTHING. Lost them in a house fire and have reordered for my new home. Highly recommend.

This is NOT a pasta bowl
This is NOT the pasta bowl I expected. I read the reviews, but I did not know that the pasta bowl and the salad bowl have the same WIDTHS. The pasta bowl that I had hoped this was, has a distinctive lip and holds more because the dish drops vertically from the lip. The bowl I wanted, therefore, is the perfect size for pasta, while this one is not, though the width is exactly the same. I am keeping the dishes because they stack well and are Corelle!!, but I will continue to look for the deeper dish. The one on top is my "pasta" dish.
