MSI Computer V809-2277R Video Card (GTX 1050 TI 4GT OC)

I design and build electronics and robotics devices and from that vantage point of knowledge I can truly say that I am thrilled with these video cards. I have purchased four so far. My family is using computers for recreation as well as work in this phase. I needed a card that would offer significant performance but not take much power from the power supply. We are on a budget for setting up the systems and the main recreational interest was for playing Black Desert. In addition to easy install the boards feel right, look great and the parts and assembly processes are just fantastic. I also had to check one of the computers while it was operating the game and there was so little heat generated by the large heat sink on board that I was nothing short of amazed. More like I would design something (To Last) The software for the card is also great. There is a built in function to access the game though the video card software which helps integrate a number of game specific bug fixes. In effect they help support the trouble free gaming of the user by offering that level of support for the ones we have tried.

I ordered this to replace my AMD Raedon RX 460 card, as I didn't want to order a new power supply as well as it's the same wattage, and the performance boost is noticeable. In the virtual world, Second Life, with the old card, I had to limit draw distance to 32M max, and down to 8M at certain places, otherwise I'd start to freeze up. Since getting this card, I've been able to go to 128M, and raise the graphics quality with no degradation of performance. For the price, this is probably the best card to get.

This GPU turned a Dell Inspiron 3847 Desktop - Intel Core i5-4440 - 12GB DDR3 into a serviceable 1080P gaming machine with a single upgrade. Able to run Fortnite and Rocket League at 1080P with high settings. Rarely drops below 30 FPS and appears to hold 60 FPS more than 90% of the time. And that is it no crazy cooling mods or PSU(Power Supply Unit needed). 300 W PSU is powering this card from the PCI slot it is in just fine with no extra cables needed. My daughter and I a very pleased with the PC games we can now play; my wife is far from thrilled since this is her work computer. Running games of SSD or HDD effects load time, but does not effect FPS that I can see, but I highly recommend SSD upgrade also for $50 or less(cables and mount extra).

I bought this GPU with not much hope for it being all too good, especially for newer AAA games. However I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it still runs a lot of modern games, at low-medium settings, at more than playable framerates. I'd definitely still recommend this card for beginner PC gamers or people on a tight budget. It's more than worth the purchase.

The card came in the manufacturer packaging and antistatic bag. Very clean and undamaged. The card installed easily and has worked well so far. Even though this card is older and may not play today's games on anything more than medium settings, it still has a place for video transcoding and it does that very well. As a side note, this card is capable of being passed through to a Hyper-V guest OS too. Works perfectly in my setup.

Easy to install. Instructions tell you to go to MSI.com for drivers, but that site tells you to go to nvidea.com instead. No biggie, but the thing upsetting me is registering the card with MSI... The box has a serial number, but not the 'checksum', which is necessary to register. The card has a different serial number and a checksum printed on it. In order to get that info, I have to remove the card, then reinstall it. The 'checksum' should have been on the box, and with 2 different serial numbers, I am unsure which to use. Eventually, I will pull the card and figure it out, but it should have been easy-peasy...

What I liked was keeping my 300 Watt power supply. I put it in my Acer Aspire TC-675 desktop. Here's the rub. I'm running Ubuntu 23.04 with dual HDMI monitors and it works just fine. I have one on DVI with an adapting cable and the other straight HDMI.

I bouth this last December 21, and I used it just for 4k video on youtube and movies but it just stop working, fans are spinning but no video, I switch the video card for a hd 5450 and it works but not for the 1050 ti, I also tried in a different motherboard and no video. I try to contac the seller but it shows "ERROR". I hope the seller see this and contact me to see what we can do. Thanks. Overall nice, easy install, grat video card and no power connector.

Très bonne carte graphique, totalement conforme à mes attentes. Etant passé d'une GTX 650 2gb à celle-ci, inutile de dire que les performances n'ont strictement rien à voir, c'est le jour et la nuit. La carte en elle-même permet de faire tourner tous les jeux récents (chose que je ne faisais pas avant ou très difficilement) qu'ils soient gourmands ou non avec parfois la nécessité de réduire un peu les graphismes (moyen/élevé au lieu d'ultra par exemple sur les jeux très exigeants) mais c'est tout à fait normal pour ce prix là. En résumé : Les plus : + Très bon rapport qualité/prix + Très bonne régulation de la chaleur en jeu, et tout cela sans un bruit, impressionnant ! + Consommation électrique de 75W, imbattable pour ce niveau de performances. + Format de la carte graphique relativement compact et qui loge parfaitement dans une tour de taille moyenne. + L'optimisation de la carte par MSI, toujours aussi bien faite. + Écosystème Nvidia toujours aussi agréable. Les moins : - Certaines cartes graphiques de la marque concurrente (RX 460 pour ne cité qu'elle) qui peuvent être aussi performantes que la GTX 1050 avec un prix plus intéressant. Après on est sur un écosystème différent, et une consommation électrique qui n'a rien à voir par rapport à la GTX 1050, bref les goûts et les couleurs... - L'emballage inexistant de la part d'Amazon. La carte graphique est arrivée dans son emballage d'usine exactement comme sur la photo, non protégé des regards, sans scotch de sécurité ou opercule de sécurité, bref rien du tout... Heureusement, la carte, et même son carton d'origine sont arrivés en bon état, et la carte graphique fonctionne parfaitement bien. Cependant, rien que pour la sécurité du produit j'aurais vivement apprécié un carton en plus de l'emballage d'usine..... Je n'ose pas réfléchir à ce qui ce serait passer si la boîte était arrivée vide.... - Rien d'autre à signaler ! :) PS : MSI n'étant en rien responsable de mon fâcheux incident avec l'emballage, j'ai pensé qu'il était normal de ne pas baisser la note du produit qui est totalement méritée.

Esta tarjeta de video la elegí ya que primero no necesita alimentación de energía solo con el PCI-E le haces, ademas de ser accesible, esta tarjeta es muy buena para jugar juegos E-Sports como CS:GO o Overwatch, estos títulos los correrás sin ningún problema, incluso puedes jugar juegos un poco mas exigentes como el bf 1 o también el PLAYERUNKNOW`S battleground que a pesar de ser un juego en acceso anticipado y algo mal optimizado lo pude jugar a 75 frames en todo los mas bajo posible, ademas yo cuento con un procesador AMD FX 8320, tal vez pueda correrlo bien a medio u unas cuentas cosas a bajo o alto. Lo recomiendo a aquellas personas que tienen un presupuesto ajustado, ya que es eficiente, barata y bonita.

Die MSI ist einfach super und auch ihr Geld werd. Negativ aber war der Versand den der nicht neutrale Karton war auf keinster Weise irgendwie versiegelt und es könnte sich jeder darin bedienen wie er will. Was ich auch vermisste war eine Treiber CD aber zum Glück gibt es ja Internet.
