Exactly what I was expecting. Also it came fast. Thank you Review: Great Teaching Tool - This book offers harmony parts for most of Suzuki book 1 (all but the last 3 tunes). And maybe 3-4 parts for book 2, and 1(?) for book 3. I use this book to help the young students learn how to maintain steady rhythm and independence. The duets and 1 trio could be used at a performance and/or contest.

Seems fun
I'm a violinist, my daughter is about to be on the other side of Twinkle. I'd like it better if it had the harmonies for Twinkle written down, but I'll live. This should make practice a little more entertaining for the kid. Probably fun for teachers too.

Good book
How can you even give a bad review on a music practice book? Received exactly as described. That’s it.

Needed another copy of this book for my violin students. Perfectly fits with the Suzuki violin repertoire.

Fabulous!
I ordered this duet book after I realized it was a supplement to the Suzuki books, one, two and three that I already have. Well, I couldn't be more pleased with how beautiful the duets sound. The second parts are beautifully composed and have a melody, not just a few single notes to harmonize with the first part. If you use the Suzuki book one, you will have about 13 or 14 pieces to go with this duet book. This supplement makes even the easiest piece sound rich and complex - for a beginner especially. It makes you want to practice and that's saying quite a bit. I played many of the pieces with my teacher and he was very impressed at how beautiful we sounded together. You will not be disappointed with this great duet book.

Nice arrangements
My daughter is in Suzuki book 2 so we played through the first 14 songs in this book. We enjoyed the arrangements. The only things that kept me from giving this a 5 star rating was that I would have appreciated that both parts be on the same score for easier reading, and not just the accompaniment as in this book, and that the binding was a spiral binding instead of a staple. I bought my daughter's violin 1 book with a spiral binding and it is much easier to work with as it lies flat or can be folded around. I normally accompany her with the piano arrangements, and these were somewhat different, but that was the good part. It keeps things interesting through the hours of playing Suzuki involves, and a violin is much easier to take with us... compared to a piano :-)

Nice for performances and to perk up lessons
As a violin teacher, it's nice to be able to play with my students and to give the lesson a different dynamic. This violin accompaniment book is a nice alternative to piano accompaniments (for those who do not play piano) and are easy enough for another student of the same level to play so that they could perform together as a duet at a student concert. It is also great that this book accompanies the first 3 Suzuki books, so it's like a 3 in 1 (I believe the piano arrangements are one accompaniment book for each student book, so you'd have to buy three books instead). The only thing is the book does not include the melody, so you'll have to have both this book and the corresponding Suzuki student books.
