I specifically purchased this energy-saving, motion-detecting small LED light for our interior garage stairwell for its size and AC (3x AAA) power source. The light is small, plastic, battery-powered, and inexpensive ($13.99), but does what it promises: detects motion, is bright & long-lasting, easy to mount, convenient, etc. If you need an inexpensive, indoor, screw-mountable light source for security/safety, this is the device for you! Recommend this product!

I strongly recommend it. So easy to install. Nice and bright led light. I love it. Too much quality for cheap price.

Works very well. I did have to replace the batteries after just a few weeks, but I am hoping that is because the batteries it came with were low quality. I hoping with a high quality replacement battery, the life will be better. Gives off a very bright light and comes on and goes off as described.Stopped working after a few months and multiple battery changes. Very poor quality.

Will not work at my door where I have IR security cameras. The light that I was replacing did fine, but was very difficult to change batteries and took C-Cell batteries which is why I purchased this one. I tried a second one and with the same result. Something about the IR light emitted by my cameras interferes and will not let the motion recognize me. I did test it away from my cameras, and it worked fine, but that is not what I bought it for. I guess if you want it for somewhere there is not a security camera, then I guess I would give it a better review.

The light is very bright and I love the simple design. It can pivot in just about any direction. However, I have to put in NEW BATTERIES about everything 10 days! And that is when it's on "auto" setting.Frustrating

On vacation we had a motion detected light over entry door that I really enjoyed. Found this one on Amazon and ordered last year. Love it so much over our entry door that this one is my 2nd one purchased. This one for illumination over our back steps for safety. Perfect amount of light and motion detector works great!

I have numerous motion detector lights around my house. I purchased this one particularly for a small size. Upon receiving installed new batteries and followed the instructions. The light is nice and bright but the motion detector failed to work. I tried every different position and situation, works maybe 1 out of 30 times. Returned to purchase the Mr. Beams, always have good luck with them.

I have an overhang on my doorstep and installed this it. Works fine, and it simplifies unlocking the door.I suppose it would also discourage a potential intruder from working to get in through the door, and perhaps even a thief who wished to steal packages left outside the door at night. It has, by the way, been months since I installed it and I have not had to change the batteries.
