OXO Good Grips Under Appliance Microfiber Duster 4" x 1/2" x 33-1/2" h Orange

I love this thing!! It makes it so easy to dust under the refrigerator, cabinets, and the washer and dryer without having to move them out. We have a ceramic floor in the kitchen and the longer fiber around the edge of this duster get the dust that settles between the tiles. The length of the dusting cloth is 27" and its 5" wide, so it reaches to the back of most appliances and cabinets. It flattens to 1/4" so it will fit under anything that is at all raised above the floor. In addition to cleaning under appliances and cabinets, I have also found this duster useful in removing dust that sometimes sticks on the walls. It's the kind of dust that you don't see until a light shines on it. I also have shelving units that are located in the corner of a room next to a wall. The shelves and a couple desks that are so close to the wall and impossible to move. I can't fit a vacuum attachment to vacuum the dust and dust webs that collect between the shelves and desks and the wall, but this duster removes the dust on the wall and also on the back of the furniture. This duster is also useful to remove the dust behind the television cabinet and dressers. This tool removes all of the dust so easily. This duster is also long enough that I can use it to remove dust webs that appear in corners between ceilings and walls without having to carry a vacuum around to do it. I am actually finding more uses for this duster all the time. Once all the dusting is done, the dusting cloth can be pulled off the holder and washed in the washing machine. Since I wash all of my laundry in cold water with Woolite and use vinegar instead of fabric softener, I can wash the dusting cloth with my regular laundry. Then I let it air dry. Since it has a hanging loop on the handle, it hangs in my utility closet when I'm not using it. So far, I couldn't be happier with this dusting tool, and would recommend it. This OXO Under Appliance Duster had been on my Amazon to Buy list for a while before I bought it and I am so glad I did! It works under refrigerators, stoves, couches, furniture, beds, dressers, bedside tables, tops of blades on ceiling fans….for me it is a cleaning GAME CHANGER! I do have to take it outside and give it a good shaking periodically to get rid of the dust and twice I have also put it in the wash to give it a good cleaning. No problems with washing it. I let it air dry both times rather than putting it in the dryer. I didn’t want static electricity on it. Seriously, don’t put buying this duster off…you won’t regret this purchase!

Cleaning under large appliances and furniture is a pain. As the owner of a dog that sheds year round, there is always dog hair under everything. With this I no longer have to act like I don’t see it. Slides easily under everything and catches the hair and dust. Easy to care for as it is machine washable. This is a great thing to have for cleaning. Would definitely recommend this item for cleaning those impossible to reach areas.

I really like that the cover is washable. Although, the cover has has frayed a bit during use and after one wash (I just got it, so I haven't washed it much yet). Not sure how long it will last, but it is excellent design for hard to reach / annoying to clean places. I am also glad I purchased a refill - if you are cleaning for a party / most of the house, it is nice to have 2 rather than just the original cover the wand comes with. Dust really does stick to it. It is super soft and slightly flexible. Perfect for radiators, as you can hold it horizonally and slide it in between the coils lengthwise! It is also great for under the fridge (when I did so, it cleaned not only the floor, but the underside of my fridge which was very dusty - who knew?). I'm hoping the quality is good enough to last for a while, but even if it only lasts a few months, I still think it is worth it. It just cuts down on cleaning time so much and it really gets the dust. It also is long enough to work as an extension for tough to reach places.

Love it! This is the most wonderful device. It did go under washer, dryer, frig and stove, some reviewers reported it wouldn't go under theirs, my stove looked like there was no hope, but it went under. They're all about 4 years old. It is also great for under heavy furniture - no more moving heavy pieces. Absolutely everything stuck to it, nothing it collected fell away or shed. You cannot shake it off outside either. Therefore, all the dust collected went in the washer. And sure enough, everything washed off. Not sure how I feel about this, so I ran a cycle with soap and hot water, which probably was a waste of time and water, but I felt better, enough that I will definitely continue use. It absolutely did everything advertised very nicely.

Slim, long profile is excellent for cleaning tight spaces. Refrigerator coils, under appliances, etc. Cover is excellent ‘dust magnet’ / dog hair removal. Easy to remove (security snaps) and wash.

My dad is always sending my those articles, 10 Things You Have to Buy on Amazon, etc. Usually I glance and think, "nope, I don't!". For whatever reason - probably shopping therapy needs - I actually read the whole list and bought a bunch of products. When I got the confirmation, I thought - great, it's not going to actually fit under my fridge and what can it do that my vacuum can't (my vacuum can suck the varnish off wood I think). Anyway, it came, I opened it and my immediate reaction was it's floppy. Tried it anyway and...WHOA! Gross! Ick! What the heck?!?! It picked up so much icky stuff from under my fridge...I think from my previous owner too I think. I don't eat pretzels so that's my guess cuz that's what came out. Besides a massive dust bunny way in the back, it also swept out a $10 bill, cat toys (lots of them), a thin cutting board/sheet, and regular blech. And the cover unhooks pretty easily and can be tossed in the wash. (I keep sweeping looking for more money...it would be very nice if my fridge was also a money machine!)

My Carrier Gas Furnace comes with a metal filter system that requires periodic cleaning with soap and water. I noticed that after soaking it in the bath tub and drying it outside or with a hair dryer, there is still dust on the flat metal pieces inside. Accordingly, I wipe them with a microfiber rag and to my dismay; I have yet to complete this chore without cutting myself on the sharp wires and pieces of metal inside this filter. I have been searching for a solution to this problem and Eureka! I found it! Looking on the OXO products, I discovered a Good Grips Microfiber Slim Duster that fits the bill. It is a 4 X 26 inch duster that fits over a plastic insert with a handle. The Microfiber sleeve is washable. It was designed to dust under a refrigerator or stove, couch, chair or any other hard to reach area. It does a good job on those, but I am most excited about the new tool I have found to clean my furnace filters without cutting my finger tips. Thanks OXO, your products are amazing. Dusts under the fridge, tops of wardrobes, behind radiators and all those awkward places. It has a long handle which helps get behind furniture and its flexible too. The dust clings to it and I vacuum the dust off. I just wish I'd had one years ago. Best help for cleaning ever!

Bought this because various sites said it was compatible with the standard OXO duster handle. It wasn't. Found out i can't get the handle, so it was useless. Contacted OXO Australia and they told me they only sell the handle overseas. What's the point in selling a refill only when the handle itself is not available anywhere in Australia? Absolutely ridiculous.

Hart und Lang habe ich nach einem Werkzeug gesucht, dass das Putzen unten unseren Möbel vereinfachen könnte- den Good Grips OXO Microfaser mach genau das! Es besteht aus Microfasern und ist etwa 1,5 cm dick- passt perfekt unten unseres Sofa, TV-Möbel und hinten den Kühlschrank. Er wischt den ganzen Staub raus und dann braucht man es nur staubzusaugen und fertig! Man kann den Microfaserteil rausmachen und in die Waschmaschine stecken, bei 30 Grad waschen und er ist wieder einsatz bereit. Insgesammt, macht was er verspricht und hat eine gute Qualität
