Bought the vitade 672, how do i zoom in/out the webcam? is there a download so i can adjust camera settings (zoom, brightness, etc.)

Yes, this 1090p webcam can work with xbox.

How wide can the attachment clip expand?

It is not a clip it is a hinge with the top resting on the top edge of a monitor or the bottom resting on a desk or shelf. Fully extended and resting on a desk the camera is about 4" high.
