Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium All-in-One For Dummies

The book is an excellent user guide, describing the key functions of each of the programs contained in the CS5 Design and Web Premium Suite. Paper quality can be improved, but an excellent value, and is highly recommend.

I have been using this book for years. It is the only computer book next to my desk. It helps me with the big pictures and with simple memory reminders.

This book is a great resource for your library. I needed it for a quick reminder for Photoshop and InDesign but ended up using it for creating videos in Flash too. Very simple -- a little too simple in some places though.

I've hardly used it since I bought it but from what I have rad on it, it gives you the basic on everything you need to know and if you're like me you'll work with that information and use youtube with it! Great book though, must have for all beginners!

Although the titles of these book series are rather insulting, the CS6 Dummies guide is very thorough and easy to follow. I think it would be nice if there were more color in the illustrations, but I know that change would increase the cost of the publication. So you are getting good value for the cost.

Exceedingly useful reference even now, when Creative Cloud has superceded CS6. Even when superb on-line instructional videos are available, it is good to have an old-fashioned book at hand to look up a detail when the need arises.

It's a bit vast in what it covers and you need a forklift to carry it -- no book this huge would probably ever deserve 5 stars. There's a lot of stuff to wade through to get to what you need, too. However, that shouldn't detract from what is useful and good about this book. Along with Adobe's official videos (and a few unofficial ones you might find on YouTube), you should be able to learn CS6. I expect this book to be useful for some time, too: I haven't gone through the Photoshop section; that's next on my list. All things considered, this is an excellent value for the sheer volume of information it is able to convey.

Seems to be a good book but a little pricey.

It helped me to understand most importantly "Adobe Illustrator" best. . . I needed to learn this to help a friend with a work project he had, and he and I both know that he is not a teacher!! This gave me a good foundation to Illustrator so that I could help him out, and potentially save our friendship :))

Si, va bene, ma è ovviamente poco approfondito. Soprattutto riguardo alla esportazione ebook con indesign. Buono per chi parte da zero e vuole una panoramica.

I'm using this giude purely as a reference to dip in and dip out from; it is very thick and full of comprehensive info as it covers all of the Adobe programs in the package. Therefore it's great value - particularly when you consider how much one guide book is for, say, DM on its own. Very useful.
