Large, but in a good way. Great tone!
As many reviews have mentioned, these capacitors are larger than the typical Orange Drop seen in guitars. I believe the size is due to the 400 volt rating and probably intended for high voltage amplifiers. The smaller ones are 100V or 200V. A 400V cap is definitely overkill for a guitar, but I chose these due to the tighter tolerances (5% vs 10%). I believe this contributes to a more controlled tone taper. Worked great in my guitar project, and itโs all about positioning. I lay them down on top of the pot so they donโt take up much more space than the smaller OD caps.

Large but good
Very large. Upgraded pots and installed a tone push/pull pot on my inexpensive Glarry Thinline Tele. The original pots were a/b 250k and I swapped to a/b 500k and to a .047 capacitor since the guitar has 2 hotrail pickups. The guitar has excellent, deep tone now. The capacitor is literally the size of the push/pull pot switch box yet it still fits.

Sound good, but very large
These will do exactly what you want them to do for your guitar or bass tone, but take heed they are about 3x as large as other Orange Drops I've used in the past. If you've got the room, buy away!
