So there I was accidentally breaking my wife’s recently hung decoration which happened to have a glass mirror on it . So after being put in the dog house I scoured the earth and couldn’t find a replacement that size . So after ordering this tool and watching YouTube videos , I purchased a cheap glass mirror from big lot . I crossed my fingers and made a couple of practice cuts which were surprisingly easy, I took the dimensions of the other mirror and made 2 things happen. I fixed her decoration and got back in the wife’s good graces. I am not a glass cutter by no means but this tool made me look like a pro it is made of great quality, it’s easy to use, and the price wasn’t bad. I highly recommend it to anyone who breaks their wives decorations .

Price was one of the best and quality is amazing. Worth the money.. quality is good as well. Functions like it says. Easy to use and would buy again.

I give the cutter 4 stars only because I'm not sure if it was me, the glass, or the cutter. I was attempting to cut a large mirror in half and it was much more of a challenge than I wanted. I watched several YouTube videos and they all made the feat look simple and straight forward. My first cut I ended up scoring 3 times when it wouldn't snap after the first or second. My third score had just the smallest deviation at the very end and sure enough that's where the glass followed, BUT I had two large pieces of mirror. I decided I had some glass to "spare" so I attempted to straighten the cut out and I saw a person score, tap on the back side, clamp a board (1"x1"x60") along the cut,and then break... yeah that was terrible and didn't work. My clamps were just the an inch or so from the end edge, so each end snapped off the score and the tapping on the back side left jagged areas along the main snap. Finally, my third attempt to again straighten the cut... I scored hard, used the same straight board without clamps. Initially, I just dropped the board from 3" off the glass, then 6", then 9-12"...nothing... finally after several (felt like CPR compression) pushes the score snapped irregularly and the remaining large portion broke in two. My cutting days are over until I get better hands on training. For all of this I used a 3/8" dowel under the mirror at the fulcrum point.

Yes it met my expectations.the hand held cutting tool is nice I'm very happy w my kit..I had done stained glass some years back and decided to start it again.very relaxing and peaceful.

Very cheap, you get what you pay for. Wobbly, doesn’t stay locked down even on the smoothest glass, cutter head sits at an angle and makes for inaccuracy. Deviates from where the cutter head is locked in place. Absolute garbage.

This item was one of the very best that I have used. Was very easy to use and worked as advertised. As being a woman it was uncomplicated and easy to handle. Worked just as advertised.

It came in a Ziploc bag. No case or anything, which is ok, but what you see is exactly what you get....yes that means there aren't any instructions with the items...Its a huge let down. I was hoping to cut a mirror, but it came with nothing as a guide. It comes with a eyedropper, but without the help of Google, I wouldn't know the use. The most annoying thing is that the pliers that come with are poorly cut. I can't use them at all. They have a jagged tip to them, so grabbing glass just breaks it, it isn't a smooth grab. I had to use a towel to grip the mirror so I could get it to cut. Long story short, bad pliers, no instructions, no case, and no oil....

Der Glasschneider macht was er soll, er schneidet Glas :-) - und das macht er recht gut. Wichtig ist, dass es nur bei relativ dünnen Einfachscheiben gut funktioniert, genau dafür ist der Schneider aber auch gemacht. Konkretes Beispiel zur Anwendung bei mir was ein Loch in eine Kellerscheibe zu Schneiden und dann ein Lüftungsgitter einzusetzen und das andere was eine Trennscheibe als Zugang für eine Katze via Katzenklappe. Hat bestens funktioniert!
