Great product and excellent customer service
I'm pleased with the product and purchased it because my daughter had bought one first and her family really liked it. They have never had problems with theirs. I never had problems with mine until i washed the filters after i had it for awhile. For some reason the filters became moldy after i washed them. It may have been because i didn't dry them thoroughly or maybe i wasnt supposed to wash them, or washed them wrong? I tried washing the mold off but it left white residue on the filters. I contacted customer services and Krystal replied to me on the same day I contacted them. After asking me a few questions she requested a picture of the filters. she then sent out new filters to me right away, with a tracking number and i received them in the mail within a day or two. I rarely submit a review, but I am so impressed with the product, and especially with the support of customer service. I have never experienced customer service this speedily. I recommend this product, waterdrop gravity water filter system, if you want good tasting and safe water. I don't think you will regret purchasing it.

Great purchase
Fantastic and provides great tasting water. Easy to assemble once you READ THE DIRECTIONS 😹 & soak the filters. I bought a really cute stand for it and it looks nice in the kitchen. It holds about 150 ounces of water.

It's really nice for the price compared to the name brand.
I have been buying and lugging home reverse osmosis water from the store for years, because I don't want to drink water with flouride, chlorine, other chemicals, and medications. I followed another person's advice on here and bought the Berkey brand filters for it. Be sure to get both the black filters and the flouride filters if you want flouride out of your water as well. There is a difference I see between this brand and Berkey:. Berkey looks like it has room for 4 filters at a time, but this one has only 2. There are only 3 of us at home so we are fine with the water filtering more slowly from the two filters instead of four with the Berkey. I didn't really need to buy the stand because I don't have counter space for mine, but I did buy a plant stand to put it on in my kitchen and it is working out well.

Good filtration system!
Super easy to assemble! And definitely filters water very well. Our city recently changed to groundwater so they’ve been flushing the pipes with a ton of chlorine. This filter works wonders, no chlorine smell or taste!

Higher quality stainless steel container than my Berkey
We bought our 2.25 gallon (Big Berkey) system 10 years ago and we have loved it. However, I always knew that, should we be in an emergency situation, I would need more water filter capacity than what we have. This year, I decided it was time to increase that capacity. Yet, the cost of the Berkeys has more than doubled since our initial purchase. I took a look at Waterdrop, read their reviews and decided to go forward. I do wish that I could have purchased the 3. 25 gallon size, but they don't offer that. To my surprise, the stainless steel container is nicer quality and it is even prettier! The sight view water spigot is also better because of the little red dot that helps you see the water line with more ease We did not order the one with 4 holes (for the flouride filters) because there has been a pledge that flouride will be removed from our drinking water in the new year. After the 2nd flush of water running through the system, the filters worked great although I have not done the red dye test on them yet. I can always revert back to using the VERY overpriced Berkey filters if I am not pleased with the Waterdrop ones. I am just grateful that I have an alternative that isn't so pricey. I am VERY PLEASED with this product.

Doulton filters made the water taste metallic, total waste of money, undrinkable water. Scary!
I bought these filters based on all of the 4/5 star reviews which I find stunning. I can only surmise that people are checking the “5-star” for ease of installing” because they ARE easy to install. You just place it in hole and screw it on just like the Berkey’s.. It’s not rocket science. Maybe that’s bringing the overall rating up? BUT These filters don’t even come close to the Berkey filters. After priming them (just like Berkeys) and filling my Berkey with hose water 5- TIMES through the system the water had a pure sickening metallic taste that took all night to go away. The scariest part is the water from the hose tasted perfectly fine with no after taste of any kind which means these filters are created the disgusting metal taste. All 6- people on our trip said the same thing! Like everyone else (guessing here) I bought these filters because the Berkey replacements are stupid expensive. I cannot express how bad the Doulton water tastes, the time it takes for the metallic to leave your mouth and in our group 3- upset stomachs through the night. We use this on our boat and did not bring bottled water with us. We actually had to pull anchor and go into a marina to buy water. Extremely upsetting and scary putting “God knows what” into our bodies. Who really knows what’s inside of them since they don’t go into detail. Since I’m past the 30-day return time I’m stuck with them. I’ll start saving up for the Berkey filters and use bottled water until I can buy the real ones again. In 15- years this is the worst “knockoff” product I’ve ever bought. Lesson learned. We have the Berkey King and use 4- of the black filters.. with no fluoride filters. With the Berkey King and 4- Berkey filters the water tastes delicious, which is an odd thing to say as it has no taste at all. Those who use Berkey will understand... Save up for the Berkey!
