Absolutely gorgeous! Everything came in a ridiculously small box, and I was shocked the whole lamp fit in there. When you open the box, you have multiple bags of crystal strands that you hang on the shade yourself, plus the pole pieces, shade and base. The pole is assembled by screwing each piece into the next, just by turning them into each other. The pole twists into the base, and the shade goes on top. By far the most time-consuming part is hanging the crystals but it's not too bad! The whole assembly took me just one hour from start to finish, and if you get someone to help with the crystal strands, you could get it done in half the time. The beads are made of real glass! Not cheap plastic. The base is very sturdy. But there are some gotchas. The bulb size it takes is the E12 size. That's like 'candelabra' bulbs. If you've never used them before, don't worry, there's plenty of these at any home improvement store and you can buy super fancy looking E12s on amazon. That might trip somebody up if they get this lamp but don't have any fitting bulbs. Also, lots of reviewers claim the strands arrived with damage and they said they returned the item. Don't do that! The lamp comes with replacement crystals and extra strands in case any are broke! One of mine was actually broke and it took me like 30 seconds to swap out the broken crystal to fix the strand. It's pretty simple. Some of the other reviewers must have not noticed the replacement crystals provided? I will say if you are putting this together too quickly and you are clumsy, you could end up damaging the strands. If someone was impatient, they might get very mad when some strands are tangled and if they yank, the strands could break. I'm guessing that the high return rate on this item has to do with that and the unusual bulb type. If you're calm, level-headed, and can patiently put the strands on, then yes buy this lamp! It's already a fantastic price and it's the most beautiful lamp I've ever owned personally.

This is soooo beautiful and easy to put together. I am not any sort of person that can put together things and the instructions were so easy to follow. I just LOVE this lamp

This lamp is an absolute beauty! It gives a classy vibe to the room & i also use it in my content photos as a background aesthetic it looks so good & it lights up the room pretty good. It was fairly easy to assemble nothing too crazy. Well worth the money

I almost did not purchase this after reading reviews of how it was a pain to attach the crystal strands. Those reviews were correct though, it WAS a royal pain in the backside to do and my poor nails paid the price. But it wasn't difficult, just tedious and rough on the nails. I'm actually considering ordering another one for the bedroom but don't want to be too matchy matchy. It is beautiful and I love the foot control. Attached a picture and you can the shimmering reflection the crystals leave, even on bottom of the wall as you can see in the image.

Get your Tylenol ready because this is a very tedious task, no instructions on how to set it up, no labeling, there wasn't any corresponding holes to the numbered gems. I had to lay out section B piece by piece and in order to achieve the cascading look. However, it is a beauty when its completed. It uses 3 bulbs, max 40 watts. Its brighter than I thought, it lit up the whole room.
