2 - The next-generation paper tablet

I bought the reMarkable thinking it would be “a nice digital notebook”. What I actually got was something that made my brain noticeably calmer. It feels like writing on paper, but without the 47 half-used notebooks, loose notes, and constant “I definitely wrote this down somewhere” panic. Everything is in one place, it’s easy to organise, and — crucially — it doesn’t interrupt me every five minutes with notifications. There’s no email, no social media, no distractions. Just me, a pen, and my thoughts behaving themselves for once. It’s oddly satisfying and far more effective than any productivity app I’ve tried. Not flashy. Not noisy. Just quietly excellent. If you like writing things down and wish your brain would occasionally stop shouting, this is an excellent purchase.

Product arrived speedily, it is exactly what it says on the tin. It took little time to set up and interacts well with my apple products. 2 days into my working environment and all good. Great for capturing notes and editing pdfs with comments. Loving it and worth the investment.

I was really looking forward to receiving the Remarkable 2 after a little research, however since purchasing it does frequently keep switching off and resetting whilst trying to make important notes and files which is extremely frustrating and embarrassing whilst demonstrating this product. I was also unable to download additional purchased files starting at £20 for the basic office package and currently trying to get a refund for the purchase of this as it is is free to download on other devices which are much more user friendly. Please do your research prior to purchasing.

Expensive gadget for what it does- hence the 4 stars. However, if happy to pay the price this is excellent for organizing papers for whatever you write on. Not many perks- it is basically electronic paper and does what it says it is supposed to do. I am doing a post grad degree and accumulating lots of notes. I'm also disorganized so I find this really helps keep my notes all in one place. It's also environmentally friendly, I am using less paper and the battery life is pretty decent. Not convinced it lasts a full 2 weeks but can't complain. My other half was impressed with it and got one for her use as well!

I like the screen size, value for money, weight, ease of use, quality, though it needs an external light, it is good because I’m trying to reduce my use of blue light at night.

Me interesó el producto hace tiempo y me iban llegando anuncios al correo. Pero me parecía caro, así que no me lo compraba. El caso es que por una larga historia decidir regalárselo a mi mujer. Cuando llegó no le gustaba por el tamaño y decidí quedármelo yo. ¡¡Bendito el día!! Es una pasada. Escribir es mejor que en una libreta. Pero las voy a sustituir todas. Te puedes organizar las notas por carpetas, y ponerles tags. Así que puedes llevar un montón de libretas (trabajo, notas de tareas, cosas de casa, de domótica, etc.) en una sola. Se ha acabado estar en una reunión y coger una hoja de papel para garabatear lo que estás explicando. Cada página puedes usar plantillas distintas en función de lo que necesitas, y añadir texto por capas (p.e. dibujo, anotaciones, etc.) Tienes plantillas de líneas, cuadriculadas, de puntos, listas de tareas, pentagramas, lo que quieras. Con un lápiz con borrador, es ideal. Pero no merece la pena el original. Mejor como yo que compré uno clónico por una quinta parte del precio, y así la tableta me salió mucho más barata. En cuanto al OCR, he leído de todo, pero a mí, cuando hago legra clara, lo acierta mucho. También digo que es absurdo pasar texto a OCR, pierde la gracia del dispositivo que es lo manuscrito, rápido, bocetos, dibujos, reorganización del texto, rotación, etc. Todo eso en texto no se puede. La resolución es brutal, nada que ver con tomar notas en una tablet (iPad), porque el trazo de escritura es superfino (te diría que un 0,3mm aprox en bolígrafo). Luego ya si coges el modo pluma (porque tienes casi un centenar de combinaciones de pluma, color, trazo, etc.), pues ya es una gozada, es como una estilográfica pero sin llevar la manos llenas de tinta... Ahora vamos con las pegas... porque las hay. Pesa un poco, más que una libreta, pero compensa. Gasta bastante batería (en 2 días de uso normal, se ha comido el 50%), y hay algunas funciones como la conversión OCR que no funcionan si desconectas la wifi para ahorrar. Es grande, sí, mi mujer tiene razón, la pantalla es poco más que un Din A3 y el tamaño del dispositivo es un Din A4. Pero esto tiene que ir genial para leer libros en PDF, p.e. (que he de probar). Los "accesorios originales" son caros (140€ un lápiz con borrador es una locura), pero hay "clónicos". Si quieres sincronizar las notas en la nube, has de pagar 3€ al mes (pero hay blogs que te enseña a hackearla y hacer las copias en tu Google Drive. He de mirarlo. En fin... que después de usarla pienso... pero por qué has tardado tanto en decidirte...?

le prix de la tablette vendue par le vendeur est le prix de la remarkable version pro que l'on peut acheter sur le site officiel. De plus a l'utilisation sur une journée complète la batterie tome a environ 14 %. Sinon a l'utilisation le rendu et sensation d'écriture sont bonnes [Edit}. : concernant le prix je viens de voir que la pro est dispo uniquement en Ireland et USA, donc les vendeurs Fr appliquent le prix de la futur Remarkable pro. Je modifie ma note de 2 à 4
