Will this tape stick to plain plywood not painted?

Yes. ZIP System™ tape is compatible with dimensional lumber. (treated and untreated), OSB, plywood, house-wraps, PVC, vinyl and metal substrates.

Would this be effective to make last minute temporary seals around doors, windows and sliders to prevent water intrusion during a storm surge of 5 ft?

Great question. Although ZIP System tape has great adhesion and moisture protection, this has not been tested in marine or nautical application and it would be difficult to answer your question.

Will this size work for work for window flashing in 2x4 walls?

Yes. I typically use the stretch tape to make a sill pan and run it up the sides of the rough opening about 6”. After the window is in I flash the sides then the top with regular butyl tape. You could use the stretch tape for that too but its a waste of $$ in my opinion.
