between quality parts and good design, it is a great stationary bike
It took me a "minute" to choose this bike. This is my 1st stationary bike. It is very easy to use, and assemble (still takes some time, but it is easy: good directions are included), easy to adjust Tension on it, has good functionality, good speed and stability, and ultimately, very enjoyable. The way I decided on Yosuda, is by finding a bike with most reviews, with average of 4.5 stars. Then I tried to figure out the differences between different models of Yosuda. The reason I liked this model is because it has magnetic tension, which will never need any maintenance, as opposed to mechanical tension, where the pads need to be changed out. Due to magnetic tension, it is much quieter, which I also liked much more than the noisier, less expansive bikes. And also, this model has 2 adjustments for the steering: up and down, plus closer and away. This particular feature, I knew, was important to me. I don't like to exercise in a suggested bent-over pasture. I have never been a "real" bicyclist. I want to exercise while sitting up-right. And indeed, with all the adjustments, I am able to do exactly that: sit upright while exercising. Note about the seat: provided seat is of very high quality: it is fairly sizy, yet fairly light. The one quality I was looking for was comfort. And it was as comfortable as a high performance seat can be. But I had my own comfortable seat that was not high performance, and was a lot heavier than the included seat. But for a stationary bike, it does not matter. So I swapped it, and it is significantly more comfortable than the included seat. But my seat is of lesser quality, and it creeks a little bit when I use the bike. Probably a little oil can fix that. Anyway, between quality parts and good design, it is a great stationary bike.

Excellent cycle for the money
I've had a few exercise cycles in the past and each ended up largely unused mainly because of the un-natural feel while riding, or the poor ergonomics. I choose the Yosuda L-010 over some of the better known brands because it seemed like for the price, heavy duty build, heavy flywheel, belt drive and magnetic resistance seemed like a nice feature set. I ordered completely prepared to return if I didn't love it. Well, its early yet, but I love it! It came excellently packed without even minor box damage, which is unusual for an item this heavy and non-balanced in the box. Assembly was simple. They nicely provide an extra for each nut, washer, and fastener. If you have real wrenches on hand, save yourself some time and just use the real thing. The supplied wrench tools are probably adequate for someone who doesn't have the tools on-hand but are going to be tougher to really tighten well. The riding feel is excellent. The heavy flywheel and magnetic resistance make the ride very smooth. The magnetic resistance seems to be more than sufficient for both my current needs and my anticipated needs as my conditioning improves. The belt drive and magnetic resistance make this bike silent. Not just quiet, but silent. People in the same room would probably not know you were riding if they couldn't see you doing it. The frame is nice and heavy and solid, with both pin and pressure holding the seat post (no slipping from desired height setting). I wish the handlebar post had the same pin system, but it has not been an issue, and bears far less weight. If it ever moves I may drill some holes for pins. I use on a vinyl plank floor with a pad underneath. I might switch to only having the pad under the 4 contact points. I don't get any slippage on the floor, nor any movement or swaying on the bike. There are some bits that are not perfect, but I was expecting them and was most concerned with good riding mechanics. I see some comments about seat comfort and I'm not sure they are referring to this model. I found the seat to be reasonably comfortable (better than other cycles I have had or tried). It seems well made and I have had no slippage of the covering. Its too early to say how I'll feel about it after an extended time, but so far I am not tempted to replace it. The caged pedals are functional, but there are certainly better pedals out there if you care about that. They are standard sized and easy to upgrade. The water bottle clip doesn't seem like its going to last very long, but again it seems to be a standard mount and should be easy to replace/upgrade. The computer/monitor is very basic and as others have noted, hard to read in the wrong lighting. If you are hoping this bike will provide lots of useful data or advanced functionality from the monitor this cycle is probably not for you. I use while wearing a fitbit, and the total duration and keeping myself in the right heart-rate zones for fat burn or cardio is all I am really interested in. Some nice features to have, which this cycle does not, would be a reading to let you know how much resistance you have dialed in, or even better, automatic change of resistance linked to a heart rate monitor to keep you at a certain rate. I knew up front what to expect and for the money I was willing to trade off on the monitoring.

4 out of 5
I purchased my bike a year ago. So I have had time to review it from experience. 1. Bike easy to assemble. Tools included. 30-60 minutes build. I took my time as it's my 1st Stationary bike. 2. Mine was very well built. Sturdy. Im ride mostly Road Bikes. Yet I have a Mountain and Hybrid Bike. None of the problems with noise, rubbing of metal, no crank issues. My pedals stay on tight. My seat does not squeak. I use the seat that came with the bike, even though I have a softer seat I purchased for this bike. 3. Seat and Handle bars are adjustable for my height. 5'10" 220lbs. Im built like a RB so with that in mind Im very comfortable on this bike. 4. Price point: Great for a 1st purchase. I had to do my own research on different bikes as all the ones my friends had were used to hold coats clothes etc. Lots of offers to take theirs free of charge. I declined. 5. Ugh. The complaints about the computer are all justified. I read them and figured I sync this bike with added bluetooth computer parts I purchased for this bike and use my Tablet. Well this computer need to sync with your tablet 1st. It took me 2 weeks to sync this computer up with my Tablet. I kept clearing the links and retrying. Failed every time. I should have deleted everything and started anew. Once I got it connected the freebie app was over. Next the Bluetooth connection kept dropping. Silly me kept looking at my tablet- when it was the bike computer the whole time. The computer was shutting down during my rides. Finally I discovered it was the issue. My warranty had expired. Investigating the computer I found there was a interment short from where the battery connector and the bike computer. If the manufacturing would build a better computer There would be a mass market of this bike owners that would gladly purchase it. At a very reasonable price- maybe we could return our original computers for a discount. My bike is in spare bedroom next to window and there is no way to view the computer at all. Computer has a standard gray back ( think very overcast day) with a slightly darker gray fonts.

Wow, a great bike at a reasonable price!
A great bike for the price! If you're considering an indoor cycle, definitely give this Yosuda serious consideration. I've owned several indoor bikes over the years, cheap ones and very expensive ones. I purchased this Yosuda Pro Magnetic, 40 lb flywheel, 350 weight capacity bike in January 2023 ($327.99) after having an awful experience with another major brand bike that cost me thousands and turned out to be garbage. Yosuda has done a good thing here. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the bike. Delivered in 4 days. Assembly instructions were clear and putting it together was extremely simple. The bike comes with everything you need for assembly, including the tools. After assembly, I used my own tools to really tighten things up a bit. The Yosuda is by far the QUIETEST bike I've ever owned. This thing whispers! The iPad holder works great. I stream YouTube bike ride videos and the iPad sits in just the right place. The bottle holder won't work well for a typical disposable plastic water bottle, but it works great with my Camelback 25ox water bottle. I've only logged about 50 miles so far, but the bike has gone well beyond what I expected it to be. The seat and handlebars have a lot of adjustment possibilities to get the fit just right (or to accommodate other users). I'm more comfortable on this bike than I ever was on my stupidly expensive, computer equipped, overpriced subscription service bike. For reference, I'm a 6'1" 260lb male. Only one negative aspect - as others have said, the digital display needs a backlight, but I was able to bend the bracket it mounts on and adjust the angle, so I can see it better. Also, I’ve noticed that angle of the room lighting can also make it better or worse, so you may want to play around with that if the display is hard to read. Ultimately, this doesn't really affect me because I plan to invest in a separate cadence sensor that will connect to my watch. I ride 3–4 times a week and will update this review in a few months to confirm it's still exceeding my expectations. In the meantime, get this bike and see for yourself!

Comparable to Stages SC3
This bike is well-designed and well-manufactured, and an excellent value. [THE FOLLOWING WAS WRITTEN SEVERAL MONTHS AGO. YOSUDA DID PROMPTLY DIAGNOSE AND RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM. ...other than the once-per pedal revolution "creak" noise generated by the crank on the down-stroke of the left pedal. I will try to contact Yosuda to understand how to gain access to the part that needs adjustment or lubrication.] I was impressed by the packing of the bike, the quality of the welds, and the solid materials. It was purchased 6 months ago as a home-substitute for the "Cycles SC3" that I use at a gym. The magnetic resistance system is well-implemented and becomes so hot after 30 minutes that I cannot hold my hand against the flywheel. I appreciate that the drive train, the most critical subsystem of the bike, comes pre-assembled, and only the feet, handlebars, and the LCD display need to be assembled. I regret not having a torque wrench to ensure that all the bolts were torqued correctly (observing that this isn't possible because Yosuda doesn't provide target torque levels for the screw/bolts). Some reviewers complain that the LCD screen is "faint". This complaint is due to a poor viewing angle. The standard position of the screen is "too vertical", making the screen optimally viewable by people who are very short, and very faint for people who are tall. A friend built a solution using a 3D printer that causes the screen to be much more horizontal and very easy to view. Even without this fix, the view angle is only a very minor inconvenience. Other small disappointments of which I hope Yosuda will take note are: 1. The seat stem is not close to long enough for a person with a 35" inseam. I've extended the stem beyond the "Stop" limit by 0.9 inches. The seat is still not high enough, but it's barely tolerable. I fault Yosuda for claiming the 35" maximum limit. 2. While the welds are generally excellent, the handlebars do not align with the frame of the bike, but are about 4-degrees to the right due to poor alignment of the weld between the chromed handlebar tube and chromed handlebar plate. MANY MONTHS AGO I WROTE: "My biggest complaint is the loud creak generated by the crank mechanism on the left pedal's downstroke. I hope that Yosuda can tell me how to lubricate the crank or other resolve this annoyance." After having waited several months to contact Yosuda, they ("Celine") responded promptly and requested a video of the problem. I waited a month to spend the 5 minutes needed to generate the video. They promptly responded with a diagnosis of a "bad crank bearing" of which there are two and sent replacement bearings which arrived a few days later. They also provided a video to demonstrate how to replace the bearings. I CONSIDER THIS EXCEPTIONAL AFTER-SALES SUPPORT--ALMOST QUALIFYING FOR A HIGHER-RATING THAN IF THE BIKE HADN'T HAD A BAD BEARING UPON DELIVERY. In summary, Yosuda agreed that the bike shouldn't creak, acknowledged that my individual bike did creak, and promptly sent me a solution to the problem. If the solution doesn't work, I'll report here, but based on the superlative service so far, I have raised my 3-stars to 5-stars. I look forward to buying other products from Yosuda (which certainly sounds like a Japanese name). Too bad other companies can't figure out how to provide comparable after-sales support. Kudos to Yosuda!

Very solid bike
I've been using this bike for the past 16 months and really like it. I typically ride for 20 minutes, 4-5 days per week. Pros -Easy to assemble. I remember putting on the cross rails on the bottom was a little tricky, but not terrible. -Overall feel is good. Handlebar position is good, pedals work well. I enjoy riding it -Very quiet, there is virtually zero noise from the wheel or pedals. The only issue I've had with noise is a little bit of squeaking from the seat (see Cons below) -My wife also uses it, and it's easy to adjust the seat position up and down -The phone stand works well, I often throw my phone on it to watch TV. You can probably fit a smaller iPad, but not a laptop -The little computer device works fine. I typically just use it for RPMs, but it's very simple Cons -I am a 6'1" male, and I use the highest seat setting. While it fits and my legs are almost fully extended while pedaling, I wish the seat went higher. The reason is that at max height, the seat rail only sits a few inches into the holster. It's not necessarily unstable or wobbly in this position, but the metal will make slight squeaking sounds, especially if I don't tighten the seat screw each time I ride it. If you are taller than 6'1", this may be too small for you. -Small complaint, and I doubt any spin bikes have this feature, but I wish there was a way to quantify the resistance level based on how tight the red screw gets. Not a huge deal thought. Overall, this is a great bike and good value.

Good value for the price
I've had for a year now and haved used regularly. Overall it works well. Build quality feels sturdy. But... some of the finer details fall short. For example the electronic LED screen is not backlit and can be very hard to see if the room is not well lite such as a cloudy day. I found a way to use a flashlight with a magnetic base to overcome this fault. Also the screen needs to be adjusted too just the right angle to see good. Also the fore and aft adjustment for the handlebars looks great in the merchandising photos but sliding adj. back to where I need it, the pinch bolt cannot be tightened because of poor design. The seat height could use more options. Also if more than one person is using and the seat height needs frequent changing, you must use EXTREME care to not strip out the threads. If they did strip, it could potentially ruin the bike. That certainly could use a better design. Finally the resistance adj. could be better. Although the magnetic resistance works well and is nice and quiet, I cannot adj. enough resistance for me to stand and pedal as I would like. I feel like one more magnet could solve that issue. Before I purchased this bike I shopped local brick and mortars and saw better known brand names with much higher price points that looked like very similar design with very similar flaws. Overall this bike seems to be holding up good mechanically and I use it alot. For the price I can work through the flaws and get a good workout. I would buy again.

UPDATE: broke twice in less than 5 months
I appreciate this bike. It is excellent if you're short or tall (just not super tall - like well over 6' you probably can't use this). But a 5' person can use this easily, which is hard to find in the "cheaper" bike world. It is very quiet, the magnet works well, and the pedals are actually quite durable. I am going to swap them out for SPD's, though, as a personal preference I don't like the caged pedal for riding. Here is my breakdown: I am an experienced spin bike enthusiast. I have been doing it for well over ten years, and I've ridden all the bikes - from Peleton to Stages to Schwinn. Here is the thing - this bike is a great dupe, but it does not have the heaviness you may want or need upon standing climb. If you are familiar with Les Mills, your attack position is perfect here, but a heavy standing climb you may not feel it as much. Many may say "purchase the more expensive bike," but I cannot afford that. This is a good dupe, but standing climb may leave you wanting more. Other than that, it's quiet, it does great at sprinting, attack, and a seated power climb. It was a great ride for all people who have tried it so far (3 riders in the house, all 3 different heights). I recommend purchasing the insurance. I did it with a previous bike, and that's how I was able to buy this one. That bike broke (the mechanism to add pressure literally snapped off mid ride), and the insurance refunded me since the whole bike was busted. I didn't want to go back to that brand, so I tried this one. I recommend it for those wanting but not able to afford the more expensive bikes you see in studio. It'll get the job done, for the most part, and you'll enjoy it's smooth, quiet ride. ***UPDATE** I purchased the original bike in November 2022. Within 2 weeks, that bike broke. I was given a replacement by December 2022. By April 2023, that replacement broke. If you are going to buy this bike, buy the extended warranty from Asurion or wherever so you can get a refund. I ended up using my warranty and purchasing a Schwinn. The manufacturer warranty wanted me to fix the bike myself. The Yosuda is quiet, it worked nice when it worked, but it broke twice. The company is overseas. You can't call them, and although they will email you back, it's in the middle of the night. The customer service was very nice, but the "fix" wasn't for me. I am not at all qualified to take a bike apart and replace the belt and resistance knob. That's a no from me. So. Buyer beware.

Well Made, Sturdy and Quiet.
Very good magnetic spin bike for home usage. Reviewed and compared multiple bikes at various price points and decided on the Yosuda Pro. The build quality, fit and finish is very good and the ride is stable, smooth and very quiet. Plastic components have good thickness and are very durable. The electronic monitor could really use a back-lit screen; not a deal breaker imho because the digital readout is large enough. The seat is a bit hard, but I'm guessing it is due to the fact it's new and it will soften up over time. The rollers are similar to those found on rollerblades and not the hard square edged type; maneuverability on both carpet and hard surfaces is excellent.
