Do these socks have flat toe seams? Some socks I've bought have a raised seam and are very uncomfortable. Thank you!

Hi, these socks are lovely and l would definitely recommend them. The toe seams are as flat as l think they could possibly be. They certainly don't feel raised. I've bought a few pairs and they are all the same. I have a hammer toe on one foot and sometimes had trouble with things rubbing against it but l haven't experienced that with these socks. In fact l've found that the looped typed stitch the socks are made of offer a nice padded effect.

Are they itchy? Thinking of my mum

Not at all itchy. Soft and very comfortable, and they wash well. I love them and have bought more.

The instructions say hand wash, can they be machine washed at 40 degrees successfully?

Yes, they keep the colour and softness at this temperature. I wash them at 40 every time

Are they tight at the top on wide legs?

The part of my leg to which the socks reach is 10 1/2" - 11" and the tops are comfortable. They are very very comfortable, wash well and I have already bought more of them. Would recommend them highly. Hope this helps.
