Five-star rating
I am very satisfied with this telescope. The quality is much better than I expected for the price. It was easy to set up and works great for viewing the moon and stars at night. The image is clear and sharp, and the tripod is stable. Shipping was also fast and everything arrived in perfect condition. Overall, this is an excellent telescope for beginners and anyone interested in astronomy. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Easy to use
Great telescope for the price. I bought it for my son and itโs pretty easy to set up and take down, has a nice storage bag. Pretty stable as long as itโs on a hard surface. He wanted it to look at the moon and it definitely does a good job at that, if youโre wanting to look at other planets and such then youโll probably need something stronger but this is a good choice for the price.

Great Telescope for Beginners, Quality Could Be Better
I purchased the HEXEUM 70mm Aperture 500mm telescope for casual stargazing, and overall, Iโm happy with it. The telescope is easy to assemble, and the included accessoriesโlike the phone adapter and wireless remoteโmake it fun to capture images of the moon and planets. The optics are clear for the price point, and itโs a good entry-level option for kids and beginners. The main reason Iโm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the build quality. The materials feel a bit lightweight and less sturdy than expected, especially the tripod. It works fine, but itโs clear this isnโt a professional-grade telescope. Still, for the price, it does its job well and offers a great introduction to astronomy. If youโre looking for an affordable telescope for basic celestial observations, this is a solid choice!

Very decent kid's tรฉlescope
For a kid's telescope, the view and image range is fantastic. I frequently visit my local museum planetary andd webcan see clusters of stars and the view its quite decent compared with those big and moder telescope. I manage to see Saturn and the four visible moon the first time i use it. Im waiting to see full moon. The only complain y have is the stability, but consider there's a plaztic twlescope and is very lightweight. Love that the tripod us large. I bought another telescope in the past and the tripod was very shirt supper difficult to set it

Good Telescope for Beginner
I purchased this for my 13 year old son and I didn't want anything too complicated. I was looking for something that we could grab quickly and set it up for a random "hey, let's look at the stars" moment. The set up was simple and the instructions were easy to understand. Each part was clearly identified in the instructions, which I found helpful. It's a nice little telescope for a beginner, or for someone who just wants something simple for a quick impromptu gaze. The quality is fine for what we wanted it for. I have never used a telescope before and I found it simple enough to figure it out. Trust me, if I figured it out, anyone can. The carrying case is small, which makes it easy to store it when not in use. I don't think that the images with the lenses we got are going to blow you away, but it is great for just a little extra fun while stargazing. It really is perfect for what I wanted it for - small, not overly complicated, casual stargazing.

Really Disappointed In Product
UPDATE: I have received two emails from someone poising as Amazon Customer Service asking me to remove my negative review for compensation thru Paypal or an Amazon gift card. Pretty much figured it wasn't Amazon Customer Service cause for 1, too many misspelled words 2, wanting me to click on a link and 3, why not want honest, unsolicited, reviews whether good or bad that weren't bought?? Implying negative review hurts their company. ANYWAY, NO I'm not deleting my review!!! This telescope was intended as a Valentine present from my husband since I love to look at the sky at night and in the early morning when I'm out with our little dog. After several hours of trying to see something in the night sky and couldn't, we gave up. With the few parts it should not have been that hard to point at a starry sky and see something besides "blur". As savvy as my husband is in figuring mechanical things out, even he couldn't figure out how to make it focus. The lens seem to be weak. The angle at which we had to position it was so awkward that I'd have to lay down on the ground to look through the lens, let alone sit in a chair. Also the star chart wheel was useless to us since we don't read Chinese. I didn't try the cell phone holder but I had a feeling that it wouldn't stay attached and could damage my cell, which cost far more than the telescope. I wish I would have read reviews before we purchased it or I would not have chosen this one.

Good Beginner Telescope for Moon Gazing - Instructions Could Be Clearer
The Hexeum 70mm/500mm telescope is a solid choice for beginners interested in astronomy and nature. Assembly was fairly simple, though the instructions could be more detailed. I've used it a few times now for stargazing and observing the moon, and the lunar views are impressive โ the details are beautiful! My only issue is that finding the moon in the telescope's view can be a bit challenging at times. Overall, despite the learning curve in locating objects, this telescope offers great views, especially of the moon. It's a worthwhile beginner telescope if you're eager to explore the night sky and the world around you. Just be prepared for potentially vague setup instructions and a little practice in finding your targets.

Our family have a new hobby.... looking at the sky and stars!
My first impression was I got dupe with the light weight of the entire telescope. But once everything was assembled and started using it, I was satisfied for the product. In fact, our family are having a blast looking at the stars using the 40x lens. The 10x lens is pretty awesome as well but you can't use it to see the stars. This item is definitely perfect for a beginner user like myself. The assembly was fairly easy, however one round plastic plate that was not mention on the manual where to mount it. I started using it in the afternoon to check out the landscape and I was quite impressed of the clarity it produces. The secret is knowing how to calibrate and adjusting the lens knob. The unit itself is flimsy but family is having a blast learning about the stars. Happy!
