In some reviews it was suggested that the 'plastic drawers' were not included but indeed they were! I now need to return the ones i did go ahead and order. All came in great shape; the holder appears to be of good material and exactly what i was looking for. Thank you👍

Let's just say I am not OCD, but pretty close. There is a place for everything, and everything has a place. I have everything from my tools, my frig, cupboard and yes....my sock drawer. I have MANY cases for just about everything...from tools to guns. I have a case just for all my MANY glues and one for all my tapes. It goes on...but trust me...I know my organization and I know storage. With that, if you are looking for quality, adjustable , versatile, portable, customizable small part storage...then you will love this unit. I currently have dozens of Plano storage units...from guns, jumper cables, first aid kits and more. Plano is a great choice (if the piece meets your needs). Regardless of some reviews I read indicating that the compartments were too small for some parts...well (no disrespect, but...)HELLO...it is what it is. Choose a bigger unit if you need more space. This particular design/configuration (regardless of what I use it for), is for organization of small parts. I ALWAYS organize by theme. I'll give you a couple of examples of `what' I used this particular unit for. One tray is my greatest hits collection of rubber, cork, felt and plastic feet/grips. From this, you can envision what I use the others for. My recommendation ? If the size works for you, don't worry about anything else...it's a great product and a GREAT deal!

Plano cases are great. Good prices, good storage capacity, high quality construction. I have mine mounted to the wall near my desk and it holds all my office supplies and a lot more. My only complaint with this case is the awful color. Maybe this color is acceptable in the garage, but I wanted to keep my inside. Storage devices are not meant to stand out like a sore thumb, and my decor does not match nicely with bright red. I ended up painting my black, and now it looks great. I used a spray paint from the hardware store (Krylon Fusion for Plastic). Unfortunately, it looks like Plano is no longer making this product. I hope they bring it back with a better color selection. I gave this five stars because functionally and in build quality, it's great. I assume if someone buys this they already know what color it is going to be.

I have owned Plano 974 organizers for many years. My existing ones have been in use for (my guess) almost 20 years, and still work great. I use them as nut/bolt/screw storage, and they have worked and lasted better than all the other (cheapie) alternatives I have tried. I originally bought two 4-drawer units, and have been on the lookout for more as I browse through the various home stores. I finally gave up looking and bought 6 additional units through Amazon. These are really great. They are well built, and the new style clasps work much better than the old. The soft plastic is rigid enough to maintain form, yet flexible enough not to break. They provide plenty of the separator tabs to accomodate fairly small compartments throughout an entire tray. The 4 drawer racks are stackable (I stack 6 high) and easy to fasten to the back wall. So- I would definitately buy again- because I did. Only down side is the cost. At $30/ea the 6 units cost me $180 plus tax. Still, I've seen a lot of storage container operations and these are ideal for my purpose. I have many small lots of between 20 and 100 screws/nuts/bolts/etc. So, I have a rack each for number 6, 8, 10, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8 & 1/2 machine/wood/sheet metal/etc. type fasteners. I finally have one location where all my odds and ends of fasteners are stored. It is well worth the investment to be able to easily find the exact correct fastener when I need it. 4 stars ****_ (because of cost.)

I bought one at a hardware store a decade ago, then two for my father-in-law shortly after that because i liked mine so much. I ordered this one and found that the box latches are nicer than the ones molded into the plastic as were the old ones. I haven't had this long enough to comment on the latch durability, but I'm satisfied so far. The internal dividers are easy to cut apart and insert to make each compartment the size needed. A few of the divider retaining slots are too wide to securely hold a divider, but I just made smaller compartments out of some of the others and used the section with oversized retainers as a large compartment. The dividers come to the level of the lid, so the contents of a closed box stay in their own compartments when the box is inverted. The keyhole slots on the back of the case are helpful for pegboard mounting, as well as with screws to a wall.

I'm a toy collector, mostly action figures but also Legos and similar building kit toys. Most collector figures these days come with numerous accessories and accoutrements and finding storage space for them that is also organized can be tough. This storage system is the perfect size for my needs. Having 4 separate containers let me organize my accessories into categories and types easily. The totes are sturdy and feel very solid when you snap them closed. There is very little room between the lid and the box when it is closed, so even placing it vertically in the container shelf doesn't knock the contents around much at all. The totes come with plenty of dividers which allow you to customize the size of each section of the tote to your needs. I had far more such dividers than I needed but it's good to have spares. My only complaint is that the outer orange storage box/shelf has very pointy corners. I accidentally kicked and ran my shin into it several times and it hurt like hell. So make sure it's out of foot traffic where you store it, or wrap the corners in cloth or something.

I'm borderline OCD and I've used a lot of Plano organizers, but I can't in good conscience give this product a superior rating. Both the individual trays and the storage unit are made of very thin plastic. The whole assembly feels weak. If they had used a few more mils of thickness, this would be a great set and an entirely different review. As it stands, the storage unit is not solid. Even in the picture, you can see that the back is cutout in places. They decided to go with a framed piece and sacrifice material, giving less strength to the back. This is important, because the plastic trays are very smooth. They slide in and out quite easily, but this becomes a problem if the unit is even slightly tipped forward. The bins come spilling out with ease. But this should be mounted to a wall right? Correct, but the mounting holes are positioned on slats of plastic instead of a solid backing. Add a little weight to one of the bins and the unit begins to droop (pulling down and away from the wall). An easy fix is to provide a small brace on the wall beneath the storage unit (for example, a 1" x 1" x 18" piece of wood), but we don't buy most things with the idea that we will have to complete the engineering on them. The trays also suffer from a lack of quality and strength you can easily find on other Plano products purchased individually. They're great for organizing small items, but not incredibly small like washers for screws. Those would effortlessly move from bin to bin by sliding under the dividers. The trays are molded into 4 permanent rows and have receiving grooves for dividers, creating up to 8 spaces per row. The dividers are initially attached to one another and have to be cut apart with scissors or a razor. And the edge of each divider needs to be cut clean (flush) before it will properly insert into the small receiving groove. Try to avoid any "tight fits" - these will stress the plastic case and make it more difficult to open and close. Bottom line, if you're looking for an organizer for small crafts or other lightweight items, this system will do it well. But if you're looking for something to keep track of hardware or anything dense that adds weight quickly, you will want to look elsewhere. Plano makes some great storage and organization products, but this one isn't up to their usual standards.

Por supuesto, el marco no recuperó su forma original una vez retirado el fleje. Es imposible que este problema no hubiera sido detectado durante el despacho del artículo.
