Celeb Luxury Viral Copper for Brunettes Honest Review and Tips
I have been using Celeb Luxury products for a couple of years, after my stylist recommended the brand. My natural hair color is warm black with some white hairs sprinkled throughout. The last time I had my hair colored was over a year ago. It was a short black bob with magenta highlights throughout. Now my hair is past my shoulders and I have managed to keep up the color on my own, with the option to experiment! WASH ROUTINE: My stylist suggested that I use the Celeb Luxury shampoo and my regular conditioner because the products can be drying. I pre-wash my hair with cool/lukewarm water and a color-safe shampoo. Then I gently towel dry my hair as much as possible. This REALLY helps to keep the color from splashing everywhere. Using gloves, I apply the Celeb Luxury shampoo in a couple of sections and let it sit on top of my head as I finish showering. I rinse in cool water really well, because I feel like it can build up. Then I condition and style. I make sure to alternate the color depositing shampoos with regular shampoo on wash days, because the product can be drying and the pigment does build up over time. I usually end up leaving the Viral Colorwash on for 5 to 10 minutes. However, the first time I used the Copper for Brunettes, I left it on for 30 minutes with a shower cap and the outcome was AMAZING. The color was soooo vibrant and shiny. However, I don't recommend doing that every time to keep your hair healthy. BTW--i used the shampoos with a fresh ear piercing, and did not notice any irritation. CLEAN UP: Make your life easier and wear gloves. It can stain your nails. Easy to clean up from the shower/tile/sink. Washes off skin in the shower but might stain your scalp. The color washes right out of my towels, even if they sit for awhile. Haven't noticed any staining on my pillows or car seat LOL. GREY COVERAGE: The brand does not claim to cover greys or virgin hair color, However, I am pleased that the darker colors, especially the Brunettes Line, actually tint my new white hairs! With the Viral Copper for Brunettes, they turn a pretty rose gold color that blends in like sun-kissed highlights. Even with regular shampoos in between, they still have a nice coral tint! It might not blend well if you have a solid stripe of grey new growth at the roots, but for 20% salt and pepper hair, it's worth a try! COPPER COLOR RESULTS: The Copper for Brunettes gives my grown-out highlights a beautiful copper-brown color--not too orange, red, or pink. It warms up and blends well with my natural black hair to mask the break between the new growth and the lighter ends. The white hairs are tinted light copper/rose-gold that lasts through a couple of washes. The deposited pigment does build up over time, so the color will keep getting darker. After awhile, my hair can seem a little dull or muddy with some buildup. I use a gentle clarifying shampoo as needed, especially when changing colors. OTHER COLORS: Over a couple of years, I have used the Viral Hot Pink shampoo and Magenta conditioner, Viral Red, Viral Purple, and Gem Lites Ruby colorwash. I also tried the Viral Light Pink and Viral Coral. While those were too light on their own, I used them to mix with the other colors. Recently, I have used the Purple for Brunettes, and now the Copper for Brunettes. I WISH they had a Hot Pink/Magenta for Brunettes! CHECK OUT THE WEBSITE: I order the products from Amazon for convenience, but I recommend checking out the Celeb Luxury website for more pictures and tips. You can learn more about mixing customized colors and reach out to the experts for advice/troubleshooting. This is especially important for color correction using the Gem Lites line, to learn if a color has warm/cool or blue/violet undertones which can have a huge impact on the final outcome of your hair color. GOOD LUCK!

2 months old pink hair.. 2 MONTHS PINK!!!
Alright listen, the first picture is the day after we professionally dyed my faded orange hair to pink.. the second picture was me yesterday with 2 AND A HALF MONTHS PINK HAIR. PINK??? If you’ve ever had pink you’d know it it’s the most difficult color to keep vibrant, but let me tell you.. this? This is quite literally a miracle in a bottle. I heavily suggest you use this in conjunction with a hair dye color, not on its own. This is NOT meant as a hair dye, it’s a dye ENHANCER. It will keep the hair looking incredibly fresh for (clearly) an exceptionally long period of time. THIS BEING SAID☝️ -wash with cold/lukewarm water warm water only-just do it, it really does help. -if you have oily hair or a dry scalp you need to scrub, use a good normal shampoo first, THEN use this and let it sit for like 2 minutes tops tbh. Use this time to scrub off your hands and nails with body wash/shampoo/or face wash! A loofah is my fave to get the color off☝️. -rinse out like normal, focus on getting the coloring off your scalp in the shower! -if you do conditioner, mainly on the ends of your hair, and face framing, not the scalp. -miscellar water is great for cleaning up the color left on skin you don’t want it on! (Rinse the cleanser off with water after!) -always use a heat protector, but ESPECIALLY with any sort of coloring or vivid! I personally suggest blow drying your hair the first day, this will help evenly distribute the moisture and keep it from truly drying out your hair entirely (it still has hair dye ingredients, it will dry it out. You are getting one thing and substituting another🤷♀️) Style as normal and you’re good!! Genuinely, I’ve never had something keep my hair so vibrant without the mess, it doesn’t transfer to literally anything, it does bleed in the shower..duh, rinse thoroughly and you’ll never have an issue. Like come on, you can’t tell me my hair doesn’t have a MUCH better color now than 2 freaking months ago with a fresh dye? The compliments I get everyday say otherwise 💃

Easy Way to Add Vibrant, Fun Color to Your Hair!
I’ve used this product for years, and absolutely love it! I apply it to my whole head, and it adheres to the lightened areas, giving it a fun touch of color. I recently applied the hot pink to my hair after previously adding a wine color from a different brand. It wasn’t quite what I was looking for, so I thought the hot pink would add the pink tones I was wanting. It worked perfectly! This is the 4th color I’ve tried in this product, and truly couldn’t love it more. It doesn’t leave my hair feeling abnormally heavy or greasy, and doesn’t stain my skin (or shower) which is a plus! Highly recommend.

Tourmaline for Lightened Ginger or Strawberry Hair
Hoping my use case for Tourmaline color wash will be helpful to someone. This summer I started using a heat activated lightening spray (specifically, Sunbabe) on my naturally dark blonde/light brown (level 6), virgin hair. I do this to turn my hair a ginger/strawberry color (think like Connie Britton) without having to use any dye or coloring products, by taking advantage of the fact that bleach and hair lighteners turn my hair orange on the way to blonde. The Sunbabe allows me to slowly reach the color I want over the course of 2-3 treatments, turning me a very natural looking strawberry color maybe 1-2 levels lighter than my natural color. I use facial hair bleach to bring my eyebrows to an equivalent ginger shade. I get to be a ginger/ strawberry blonde color without using any color depositing products. It looks really good on its own, but I came across this product and decided to see what would happen if I use this over the Sunbabe lightened hair. I thought it might be fun to jooj the color up temporarily with a color depositing shampoo. I tried it out last night and it really did turn up the color saturation on my hair without making it look unnatural (how many times can I say the word natural in one review?). It's the same ginger color, just amplified, more coppery (like Blake Lively) and a little shinier. As expected from the product literature, it didn't alter the color of my unlightened roots. It did vaguely change some of my white hairs, which had been exposed to Sunbabe, to a lighter strawberry color that blends better with the rest of my hair. That was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. However my white roots that were not treated with Sunbabe remained white. I don't really like the way it makes my hair feel. At first in the shower it felt soft, but once the product was thoroughly rinsed, it felt too squeaky clean. I conditioned after, but my hair still ended up feeling like I had just dyed it. I guess that's to be expected, but for whatever reason, I wasn't expecting it. It's not a dealbreaker for me and my hair, but someone with dry or processed hair might find this product on the drying side. The shampoo itself is a dark yellow brown color, which lathers into a yellowy orange lather. It did lightly stain my hands, but not my head or neck, nor the tub. I shower before bed and go to bed with a wet head, so I used an old pillowcase and white shirt to test for staining. I'm pleased to report, it did not stain the pillowcase or shirt. I can't yet speak to how long it lasts. I shampoo nightly, so I don't expect it to last long. That said, I bought it specifically because I want it to fully leave my head after a few washes, unlike Overtone which stains your hair forever. My hairdresser told me if I ever want to be blonde again, I need to not be using products that stain. That's the whole reason why I use Sunbabe to achieve the red color in the first place. I'm hoping that this product will fully rinse out over time, and won't affect my ability to go blonde in the future. The fragrance is a little strong for my taste, but it's not the worst. Might be too much for individuals with certain migraine triggers. Overall, I like this product and will use it when I want to turn up my hair color. I think it would be great for folks with ginger or strawberry blonde hair (natural or color treated). I'm report back if I have anything to add about how it washes it.

Bright purple color
This coats my hair in just one shampoo with a super bright purple! I have dirty blonde hair, so no bleach or lightening required. It starts out bright and slowly fades over a couple weeks to a light purple. It smells great, doesn't dye my shower or hands, and doesn't dry my hair. Awesome product!

Not semi permanent in the least- stains everything
I do not feel this is a semi permanent color, depositing shampoo. While it did brighten the red in my hair, the color constantly washed out, even after rinsing the shampoo out of the hair. It stained all my towel towels, and it will also stain your hands. Your best bet is to make sure you use gloves and any dark or old towels that you don’t mind getting messed up. What I found extremely crazy is when my hair got a little wet after washing my face one morning, I went to go use a towel on the wet areas in the color came off on the towel. It is probably best not to try to go swimming after using this shampoo. I guess I know why it says to use with every other wash because it very much temporary.

Very bright
My hair is naturally dark and I have some gray/silver. It's bleached on top and natural on bottom. I keep it short. Also, my hair is baby fine/soft to start with. Bleaching it multiple times has made it a very tiny bit more coarse but it's overall still super soft and so I don't want to speak about if the shampoo makes my hair soft simply because my hair is already soft. I bought and have used both the lavender and the hot pink. The lavender is very light. Several washes with the lavender in a row, leaving it on in the shower for 10 minutes or more results in maybe a light colored to medium purple at the most. Now, the lavender washes out very quickly. Like, after using it for a week straight, all I'd have to do is wash my hair 2 or 3 times with regular shampoo (that's 2 or 3 times in the same shower, not over 2 or 3 days) and it would be pretty much all gone. And that's fine. Because that's what I bought these shampoos for. Now, the hot pink...that's a different story. One wash with hot pink and I got...a very bright, very much hot pink color. Again, that's fine. It's just what I was going for. I washed with the pink 3 or 4 days in a row to see just how dark it would get and it got very, very hot pink. Awesome! But...I have not used the color shampoo in 3 weeks and my hair is still pink. It's not washing out like the lavender did. It's not as intense a color as it was but it's definitely still very pink. Now, I don't care. But if you're looking for a pink color for a day or 2 that will wash out after a couple washes...this isn't it. I wash my hair twice every day. This color isn't coming out. It's gone from shocking, hot pink to just a pink color. Again, I don't care. I like it. But oh boy, this isn't coming out near as fast as the lavender. Now, I also bought the darker purple color but I haven't tried it yet. I'm thinking I'm going to wash with that while the pink is still in and see what it gets me but I'm over due to get it bleached and trimmed again so I'll wait until after that. It's a great color, either way. The bright, BRIGHT/intense pink was great and so is the current, faded pink. The lavender was nice too. I'm enjoying the different colors and intend to buy a couple more. There is a chemical smell but it's not near as bad as the bleach or like, normal at home hair dye. I have a severally reactive airway and asthma and it doesn't bother me. The shampoo doesn't stain the shower walls. We have Carrara marble tiles and they aren't stained. The pink does stain my hands a little when I put it on but it washes off. There is no staining at all with the lavender.

Returning After One Use
I have Celeb Luxury shampoo and conditioner in Pastel Pink and have gotten pretty results with both products. The Gem Flawless Diamond had little to no effect on my bleached platinum blonde hair. It also made my scalp very itchy and as others have noted, it will make your hair feel dry. I used conditioner and a leave-in spray conditioner and it just doesn't look as smooth as when I use my regular shampoo. I experience the itchiness with the pastel pink as well which makes me wonder about the ingredients this company uses. The shampoo itself does not look like how it's depicted in the photo. It's a really dark/greyish blue, almost black, when you squeeze it out of the bottle. I thought it lathered up with no problem. Because it is a color depositing product, you will feel like you can't completely rinse it out and you will notice your hair feels different/thicker after it is dried. I'm going to stick with purple shampoo and conditioner to help maintain my toned color in between bleaching. Not sure if Amazon will refund me the full amount for a product I used but I'm going to return it - even if ai get a partial refund back I'll be happy. Save your money on this one.
