Full-color rich examples from British Library
I collect books on illuminated manuscripts. I was not expecting this one to be such a treasure. I keep it in a area with all my favorites. A very good purchase!

Good book good delivery but pages were just warped a little bit
I like the book I’m gonna keep the book but when I got it it looked like the pages had been damp from humidity maybe. Pages and book were not straight. Bulky looking.

El papel
El libro esta bien recopilado. Me defraudó un poco la calidad del papel de impresión. Supuse que tendría estucado brillante. Lo cual hace que pierda la "iluminación" de estos maravillosos libros

Perfect Condition. I recommend, because only page 1 - 27 gives you small illustrations with a history like I put above. And the the rest 98 pages are big illustrations like I put above as well.

Many manuscripts beautifully reproduced.
This is a beautifully illustrated book with very adequate informative texts. High quality reproductions of the illuminated manuscripts , a lovely book to own. I was particularly interested in the illustrations of the borders, depicting the all the flowers and there were many examples of these illustrations.

Lots of colour pictures and some history and methods of the artwork. An excellent book for non-experts of medieval art.

qualità di stampa bassa
Libro in inglese, non ho ancora letto il testo. Sfogliandolo però sono rimasta delusa dalla bassa qualità delle immagini riprodotte. Lo avevo acquistato proprio per osservare i particolari delle miniature e invece ho trovato riproduzioni sfocate e dai colori opachi.
