The clear letter stencils are a great purchase. The plastic is a little thin but, with patience the letters are traceable and gets the job done. Ordered the 2in and 2.5 stencils and can used for several projects.

Good quality, easy to use individual letters

I bought these to paint a sign on the curb in front of my house to keep people from walking on it and then falling off into my yard and trying to sue me ! They've been warned !

Darn good stencil set. These are durable plastic stencils that interlock to form any word you may need. I used them to stencil my name in paint on a couple of ladders I own. There were no instructions on how to interlock them so I had to figure that out myself. Slid one onto the next, they sort of bent the top tab into the top slot and pushed them together to try to get them to be seamless. They are plastic and thick enough to be durable yet pliable enough to slide and interlock one onto the next. It worked well enough. I covered them as best I could with painters tape to keep them in good shape. I used spray paint but you can use liquid paint too. There is just one letter for each of the alphabet so if you need 2 of the same letters either buy more sets or move them around.

The stencils are the perfect size. LOVE that they connect!! Easy to connect. Sturdy. It would be absolutely perfect, if you could come up with some kind of line connector, like the old fashioned self creating ink stamps so I could just slide the letters and numbers in. I had to create my own so I could spray paint my address on trash and recycling barrels. Again, the letters and numbers are perfect size and it came out beautiful!

These stencils are acceptable quality for the price range. Like most similar products in the $15-$50 price range, they share the same limitations due to the fact that they are all pressed out of the same size and shape blank. What I mean by that is that larger letters, like M & W appear as too narrow, and the letter I - particularly in the interlocking stencils - does not allow for any kerning adjustment. Also due to their flimsiness, it is difficult to make assembled words lie completely flat on the surface you're stencilling, with unsatisfactory results when using spray paint. The edges do not appear crisp but rather blurred. I will experiment further using a brush instead of spray. In the attached photo you can see the blurred edges and also the visual effect of no kerning. Because I made a stencil which I intend to use often, I corrected the kerning on the letter I by trimming off the interlocking tabs and assembling it in place using clear tape. You can see the improved look of the stencil below the original attempt. To summarize, I am happy with the purchase & may buy additional packs. I know if I want a more professional result I will need to buy more expenses stencils made from brass or other metal.

The stencils were of good, durable quality.

The letters/numbers lock together to ensure they are level. It made working with them easy and saved a lot of time.
