MC28A5135CK Convection Microwave With Slim Fry, 28L, Black

Having my old sharp standard microwave break down after years of service I opted for the Samsung microwave for 4 reasons. The Grill, Oven, Microwave & Slim fry option. As my old cooker is getting on a bit it made sense to get this particular microwave. I've been using it for over week and have not been disappointed by it in any way. Convection oven works perfectly, as does the grill, & microwave. The presets seem to be perfect for the relevant foods. The grill in my opinion is much quicker than on my aging cooker, the convection oven is as effective as my older fan oven maybe better. I can't find any faults even though some reviews say it's not as powerful as other microwaves, as it replaced an older 800 w microwave I find this one easily more powerful

It's a bit bigger than I thought but it's great has lots of different features. Not used all yet will come back when we have. It's very smart looks lovely in our new kitchen. It's a smart micro wave too. There is nothing to dislike definitely a 👍👍 up

Start button lasted 20 months (minimal use) and then wouldn't work leaving the microwave totally useless..... contacted Samsung and was told only had a 12 month warranty and therefore could not claim for repair etc.....will never buy Samsung kitchen appliance again....AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I got this during black friday deal for half price. I wanted a bigger microwave but this ticks a lot of boxes. You can use it like an air fryer or a grill or a microwave. There are other options as well. I do find it takes a bit longer than my other microwave but that might just be because it is new and I am getting used to it. I would say the only issue I will have in the future would be cleaning around the grill at the top of the microwave inside but it might not be that hard.

Please read the reviews, both here and on the Samsung website (where it is rated at 1.6 out of 5). It's a nice looking microwave, it has a great set of options and cooking settings, but ultimately they all break. The start buttons on this are less robust than a hammer made of glass. They tend to last a little over 12 months and then...nothing. They don't fall off, they don't make a "funny noise", they just stop doing anything. This should be a recall item, or they would extend the warranty to 24 months to cover the repairs for what it either a design issue, or a shoddy production issue. Please, save your money, and buy something that will last.
