Super cute, high quality piece with good color saturation. Fun character to add to your dining or kitchen area. Can be used for water or as a vase. It is functional for my needs, with s slight gargle as designed. Seems quite sturdy. Good size for my table, good value.

Exactly what we ordered!! Totally awesome in its own right but even better knowing the history behind these quirky things! Followed the directions included in the decorative box to tilt the head of the fish back a bit when filling to make sure the air pocket in the tail fills with whatever liquid you put into it. Worked just great and the family loved it!!

The jug is great fun. It is pretty and the fun sound makes drinking more water motivating.

Not quite sure how I ran into this on Amazon, but I thought it was adorable and fun. I had also recently visited the UK and the historic nostalgia of the design had me sold. I chose the duck egg color because it matched jadite pieces in my kitchen. The jug is a good size, but I was disappointed in the quality of the glaze on the ceramic pitcher. It’s thin in places and has numerous dark flecks in the lighter color glaze. One of the main dark spots in the glaze is right on the pouring lip of the fish and the glaze is rough/thin at mouth corners. I will have to be careful to not put dark beverages in it that could stain it. I am kind of surprised given the price that that type of glaze defect made it thru quality control. The jug has to be filled a specific way to produce the “glug” sound, and just to be clear, you don’t hear the sound until after you have poured a few glasses. I still like the cute design overall, but given the price it should have a nice lustrous glaze and certainly no defects in prominent spots at the pouring spout.

Loved the Cobalt blue color. Great Size and design too. Nice packaging - gift box. Sadly I returned item due to 1" hairline crack imperfection on inside of spout... THUS not 5 stars. Item was NOT damaged in shipping.

Lovely jug, but unfortunately, water is leaking from the bottom; the base gets completely wet when the jug is filled. There is no visible hole, but the entire bottom feels very wet.

Sieht schön aus, hat aber für einen Wasserkrug die ungeschickte Eigenschaften nicht nur oben (wo man es braucht), sondern auch am Boden undicht zu sein. Klar, beim Einschenken geht schon mal ein Tröpfchen daneben - die Seenbildung um den Krug herum erklärt das allerdings nicht. Gluckert auch nur dann, wenn der Füllstand recht hoch ist. Schade! Leider hat sich der Mangel erst spät gezeigt. Wenige Tage nach meiner Rezension meldete sich der Kundenservice und bot an, einen neuen Fischkübel als Ersatz zu schicken. Kam nach zwei Tagen an und prangt jetzt neben seinem undichten Bruder. Sehr freundlicher Kontakt und höchst zufriedenstellend, auch lange nach Ablauf der üblichen Fristen. Vielen Dank an James!
