The set was beautifully designed, heavy yet well balanced. Heats evenly and very well. Hestan customer service is exceptional as well. There was a Manufacture defect for the 11' inch frying pan. Hestan honored the warrenty and i will be recieiving a replacement. Great product with great service.

The Rolls Royce of the cookware. I wanted years to buy them and they worth the money. It's not for everyone! You really need to love to cook

I recently purchased the GE Café induction cooktop and needed compatible pots/pans, and GE was offering a free Hestan Cue Smart Pan with the cooktop purchase. I wasn't familiar with the Hestan brand, nor have I ever owned/used stainless steel cookware, but after doing some research, I decided to purchase the ProBond series for our daily cooking. The set is *beautiful*! And HEAVY! I'm not a great cook, but I need to tell you—the past week of using these pots/pans, and I feel like cooking has been fun! Everything has cooked evenly and cleanup is quick (the pots/pans are dishwasher safe, but I like to handwash them using a nylon sponge and Dawn) No water spots after hand drying. I cook Weight Watcher meals, so not much oil and butter is used—again, everything has cooked up perfectly. The only thing that does NOT cook nicely in stainless steel (and this is true for any stainless steel cookware, not just Hesan) are eggs, and that's because it's high-liquid meat, which is prone to sticking on the metal, so you do want to get a non-stick pan for eggs. (Hestan does offer non-stick versions.) My only concern is how heavy the pots/pans are—the weight has made it difficult to balance and pour contents out using just one hand (while the other hand is using a spoon/spatula to help guide the food onto the plate). That's probably a *me* thing, as I've only ever used inexpensive cookware, which tends to be lightweight. Overall, I would recommend the ProBond series!

After much research, I bought this expensive set of pots made in Italy. I made oatmeal and the pan was completely discolored (picturing included). I googled what to do and the recommendation was to use a few drops of vinegar then rinse it. I did that and it improved. However, I tried it one more time and the same thing happened. This time the discoloration did not completely go away. I hand washed the pot before and after use. I certainly don’t want to have to use vinegar every time I use a pot or pan. In addition, Dealing with Amazon was horrible. It took an incredibly long time to get a live representative and I had to speak to multiple agents in other countries to explain what happened and how to get a refund. I had just thrown the box away, assuming that this Italian set of pots would last me a lifetime (like my last set purchased at Costco20+ years ago). I had to take them to UPS and pay $100 to get them packaged and shipped back to Amazon. The UPS manager said Amazon should reimburse me for this amount. Hmmm I dread calling and trying to get a live agent to understand that. So presently I don’t have pots, I don’t have a refund and I’ve spent an additional $100 to ship them back. Now Amazon is telling me it may take 30 days to get a refund. I have been a customer of Amazon for a very long time with my family. This has been the worst experience, again reflecting how their customer service is going downhill. I would like Amazon to issue me the refund now so I can buy another set of pots (different brand) which I desperately need. They know they are in transit. And I would like my $100 shipping cost refunded as well. Amazon keep your customer make it right!

These pots and pans are stunning. Very good build quality that impressed me. Heats completely evenly. Super easy to cook with, just preheat and add a little oil and nothing will stick. I slid an egg around like it was floating. Easy to clean too. A bit pricey but I will likely have and use these pans for the rest of my life.
