Absolutely amazing and refuse to use anything else!
I have nearly every color of DMC thread and am always on the go with my projects, so staying organized is a must. These bags have made it incredibly easy to keep my threads neat and accessible. For each project, I lay out all the thread colors to help me choose the fabric color, and the see-through design of these bags is perfect for getting a clear visual of my options. These bags have become my go-to method for storing floss. The convenience of being able to label them with the easy-to-write-on label is a huge plus. It makes it quick and simple to thumb through a circle stack of bags to find the exact color I need. The durability and clarity of these bags have been fantastic, and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs an efficient and organized way to manage their embroidery floss.

“Sew” easy to organize your floss!
Not my first time purchasing (my 3rd or 4th?) and they never disappoint! So handy to store DMC Floss and other stitching needs. Easy to see what you have and no need to transfer to spindles (which can fall all over!). I keep all floss I’m currently using, on their own rings, and the remainder on a global ring. There is a place on the bag to write the code and when on a ring, it’s very easy to find the floss you need. On individual projects, I can organize the bags by number or color order as listed in the instructions. Then put them on their own ring. I often have beads and other embellishments and keep them in their own bags (store beads in their original packaging, then in the bag!!) If you have a kit that comes with it’s own (un-numbered) floss and want to keep the extra, it’s very easy to find a DMC match by comparing through the bags. No match? Put it in its own bag and put it in the similar color section. (You can store the floss from kits by the same-manufacturer, on their own ring, if you wish. You never know when you might need more!). Another thing I recommend purchasing are the individual, hard plastic floss holders shaped like an animal. They hold about 20? colors of floss. So if you have a kit, organize each color of floss into a bag and put them in order on a ring. (If it comes all in a single length, cut off about 18 inches of floss and put the rest in its bag.) Then take what you have cut and slip-knot it on the animal organizer. So easy to organize and easy to carry around. Great product!

Great bags
I would highly recommend. I use these bags for satin embroidery floss. Satin floss tends to slip on plastic bobbins and bobbins create too many creases in satin floss which I want as smooth as possible. The bags are easy to write on with a regular ballpoint pen with plenty enough room to write. Also, all holes are punched perfectly for rings. No, mis-punched or crooked holes. And they shipped fast which is important for me since I live in Hawaii.

Great bags, perfect for floss.
I first bought some of these bags back in the 80s and I've always been happy with them. Because the original ones are so old they had gotten cloudy and the zips on some were misshapen so I decided to replace them. This new set is identical except that the bit of plastic outside the zip is a little wider than the originals. This is only an issue because the bags don't fit the organizer I bought years ago made by the same company. It's not a deal breaker though. I really like the bags and I'm sure I'll figure something out.

floss storage bags
I have been looking for these for quite a while. The store does not carry them any more. I was so glad to see them on Amazon. It took two trys to get, as they were out of stock. These bags are of thinner plastic than my old ones, and they are a bit smaller than expected. They are about a half inch narrower than the old ones. However, they still work ok, and I am grateful to get them. Also, these bags contain more in the package than what was available at the store, which I like. As I am not a neat person, being able to put threads loose in a bag and still find them is great. I am not good with bobbins, you have to keep winding and unwinding thread to work with it.
