My pup loves to hang out in the kitchen while I’m cooking, but it just wasn’t safe for either of us, so I grabbed this gate—and it’s been exactly what I needed. It keeps him at a safe distance from hot pans and busy feet, but he can still peek in and feel included, which I love. The quality is solid and sturdy without feeling bulky. It feels durable enough for daily use and doesn’t look cheap at all. I really appreciate how easy it is to install and take down—no tools, no hassle—which makes it super convenient if I need to move it to another doorway or space. The rubber bumpers are a big plus too; they protect my walls and work well even with molding. Functionality-wise, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The expandable design fits my doorway perfectly, the handle is comfortable to use, and it feels secure once it’s in place. It’s tall enough to keep my dog out but still low enough that he can see what’s going on, which keeps him calm instead of whining. Overall, this gate gives me peace of mind while cooking and keeps my pup safe without completely shutting him out. It’s practical, well made, easy to use, and blends nicely into a modern home. Definitely a great purchase if you want safety without sacrificing convenience.

It is a wonderful pet gate. I’m so happy I ordered it. I just took it out of the box and I placed it in my doorway, it was so easy to do. I bought it to keep my pets separate, but also to be able to have airflow in my kitten without having to have all the door shut. I really like it.

I like the weight and the height very much of this pet gate. I would recommend it for anyone who owns an adult dog and needs a gate that can keep an adult dog in the kitchen or another room for some reason -- perhaps while cleaning the rest of the home or while guests are visiting. The problem with this kind of gate is that the two sliding pieces do not move easily and take some time to get "just right" so that you can pop the latch into place. It really is annoying to struggle with the two sliding portions of the gate; for that reason, this gate is not ideal if the owner needs a frequent, quick setup and/or movement of the gate. It is best when it can stay put. The height and weight are really nice, though -- easy to step over, easy to clean with a hose, and, with the exception of the difficulty with expanding and closing the two sliding pieces, it is a very nice, secure barrier for an adult pet that will not cause it to move out of alignment with the frame of the door -- either by knocking it down or climbing over it.

Measurements are accurate/correct. Price is fair. Quality/construction is good. Bumpers are great and prevents any dents/damage to wall/trim. The color choices are nice. The pattern is cute with the paw print.

This pet gate needs some refinement... It is very hard to extend and the tension handle has to be in just the right place in order to extend it. Problem is that the tension handle won't stay in the 'right place' after setting it and since it takes both hands to slide out the extension piece it gets frustrating to continuously reset the handle in the (up) right position. The handle that locks the extended piece in place is also very flimsy and it feels like it will break when setting and un-setting the gate... I am surprised it has at least held up even if it is difficult to put it in position. I am going to look for another pet gate that will hopefully be easier to use and I will use this one in a lower traffic location that will only need to be taken down less.

This is adorable! I have a Yorkie and another tiny pup in this gate is perfect for them. The little paw prints just add to it, they make it so cute. It’s made well and is sturdy. I am very pleased with this.

Works perfect in the spot I bought it for. I have a crawl space, where I store decorations and things. I don’t want the kitties in there. So it fits the door frame perfectly. Wish I would’ve had done it sooner.

I considered a 2 star rating, but since it technically does block the doorway, I gave it a 3. While it came without instructions it seemed like a no brainer. However, now that I've tried to use it, I want to throw it out the window! It is NOT easy to get it to slide for sizing, the only way I could get it to slide was to turn it sideways (short side in the air) and pull it. When I tried sliding it when horizontal it refused to budge, let alone slide smoothly! It definitely does not slide seamlessly as their video shows. I finally gave up and just set it in the doorway and hope it keeps wet paws out of my kitchen. The plastic is pretty flimsy, but not an issue, can't say if it opens easily because it is not locked in place. If it worked as it should it would keep my dogs out of the room I guess. Can't recommend.

Perfect fit for outside stairs up to my garden. Prevents my puppy from digging the lawn and garden up.

A little tricky to lock in place, but works very well and quite sturdy. I ordered 2!
