GeeekPi USB Dongle Expansion Board with Case for Raspberry Pi Zero/Zero 2, Both Front & Back Side Can Be Inserted

Works as expected. Two blinking LEDs when powered on, for those who wouldn’t expect it. Seems sturdy. Reasonable price; I’ll buy it again. Open design: you can see everything. USB is a little more flexible than I’d expect, but I have a LoRa Hat attached to it (added weight), and why would it be moving about while connected anyway? Also, cool feature: works as expected when plugged into a USB charger (mind the voltage). No need for an additional power cable.

This is a great little addition to a Pi Zero 2 W. I added this because I didn't want to have to power my device via the micro-usb ports and wanted those free for USB devices. This helped me do just that. The light is also helpful for knowing that it is working properly if you don't have a display connected. The one gripe I have is how large this is and how much space it takes up. Made it hard to use the GPIO ports from the bottom for my PiSugar battery. I ended up getting another but I put those on another Zero I had just because of how cool it works. You won't regret this purchase if you need a slick way to power your Zero. (Search for "pi zero usb-a v1.3" on Amazon if you need a smaller version)

Easy to install. The board connected to my pi with no issues. It's a little bit bulkier than is probably necessary, but that's fine. The screws are the perfect length to not have a jagged end hanging out the bottom.

Works well. I can easily access the rpi Zero 2W thru the OTG usb ethernet. Rpi Debian: 1) edit /boot/firmware/config.txt add the following line. dtoverlay=dwc2 2) edit /boot/firmware/cmdline.txt adding this at the end of the very long line (separate be 'space' character) modules-load=dwc2,g_ether 3) set a fixed IP address to the new usb interface, by creating a file /etc/network/interfaces.d/usb0 like allow-hotplug usb0 iface usb0 inet static address 192.168.7.5 netmask 255.255.255.0 network 192.168.7.0 broadcast 192.168.7.255 gateway 192.168.7.1 This sets IP to 192.168.7.5 on the pi side. -- Now on a Linux PC, plug the pi into a USB port and boot it. After boot 'ip link' will report a new interface like: 4: enp0s20f0u4u3: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc fq_codel state UP group default qlen 1000 link/ether 5e:46:5a:b3:09:c5 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff We can change the interface name to something nicer with: sudo ip link set enp0s20f0u4u3 name mypi Then configure the host interface to be on the sane subnet as the pi-usb: sudo ip addr add 192.168.7.100/24 dev mypi Now - ssh to192.168.7.5 !! works,

Excelente Dongle acrilico con excelente acabado el manual sirve pero esta desactualizado en Windows ojo de como conectar la pi al cmd con el Dongle, no es un plug and play y eso hay que dejarlo claro en Windows para las demás plataformas almenos en Linux me funcionó a la primera con las instrucciones del manual Mac lo desconozco aun así los leds azules y el acrílico le dan un aspecto genial a la pi lo único 1ue no me gusto es que la pi en la parte superior queda expuesta a basicamente cualquier cosa todo lo demás excelente.

The body of a standard pin header fouls against the acrylic enclosure, requiring a bit of filing of the opening slightly by hand to accommodate the pin header.

Nice product, a bit tricky to configure at first if you don't know what you're doing, but once it's done it's very convenient and works flawlessly. Beware, if you have the Raspi Zero 2WH (the one with soldered pins already) the top cover won't fit as it's missing the cut out for the pins on the side where they come from factory. The existing cut out it's for the video and USB ports! Also, the only way to disable the leds would be to solder them out. Not a big deal, but if you don't want the very bright blue lighting it could be an issue

Bardzo ciekawa konstrukcja, pozwala na używanie pi zero bez grzebania się z kablami prosto do ładowarki (albo do komputera w trybie gadżetu/sieci). I to bez lutowania. Wbrew opisowi wydaje się działać z pi zero 1. Wadą jest to że świeci wściekle na niebiesko.

While they work as intended, some come with frosted acrylic, others clear.

Waarschijnlijk deed ik wat verkeerd maar bij mij brak erg snel het plastic (bij het vastdraaien) en er was een slechte verbinding me de Pi.
