I am drinking it for the health benefits. I think it tastes like Lipton tea, but dark and stronger. I like that it is organic. I can't really tell a difference in my energy levels. Maybe it takes a little bit.

This mate is the best. Smoky subtle mocha taste. Nice colder weather drink with almond milk.

Great taste, weird smell at first. The product taste very, very good, and the yerba mate aspect is very fresh and green tasting and not smoked flavor at all. The "dark roast" aspect is amazing as they seem to have nailed a nice coffee-like taste and consistency to it. I take this with my favorite cream and it's just like a cup of joe. On the other hand, the product does have a slightly weird, fishy smell right when you first brew it. This goes away though after about a minute so it's not a big issue. But for instance at work, I brew this in the break room and then leave it there for like a minute and come back to get it after the smell has dissipated, because my desk is right next to a co-worker who is super cute and I feel self-conscious with the fishy smell. Lol. Other than that, great product.

First time drinking Yerba Mate. I got it because a lot of soccer players like Messi drink yerba mate to help with their athletic performance. I run a lot. I didn't really notice any of the performance benefits at first, but I found that I sweat more, my legs don't tire out, I can sprint for longer periods of time, and I tend to sleep better at night after drinking it. Overall, it tastes really good. A lot of people in the reviews says the dark roast taste like coffee, but I didn't really pick up on it. It tastes more like black tea, which is all right too. I do recommend it, because Yerba Mate does have a lot of good benefits.

I love having this on a brisk morning with some cream and sugar (not too much), but it's also lovely with just a bit of sweetener-of-choice. Lovely rich flavor, not bitter, and I feel like I'm having a real treat every time.

I love this tea! I originally bought it because I wanted an alternative to coffee. I wanted something warm every morning but without the caffeine which have been making me feel a bit jittery. I've tried other brands of the yerba mate tea and this flavor is the strongest! I love my tea and coffee dark roast and the flavor is everything to me! It's a bit more expensive for 20 tea bags only, but nevertheless still grateful to have found the product. I don't drink it everyday, but whenever I need comfort tea or a good start to my day, this is my go-to tea atm! Thank you for creating this tea!

Not gross but not impressed either

Not quite as good as loose roasted, but throw in the convenience factor and these are great!
