I Just Talk To Lysol And It’s Totally Save For Septic Tanks! Just Look At The Ingredients, It’s Just Detergent. Some Might Be Confused That It Says Antibacterial, But That’s Just The Plastic Clip, Nice Touch! Love ❤️ The Smell. Reminds Me Of Clean And 🍋 Fresh!

could i hang it inside the tank instead of the bowl?

You could, but it would probably dissolve very quickly in the water. I didn't like these, but I hung them in the bowl and not the tank. I found that they caused a permanent stain.
