Fixed the problem on my kia sportage 2017
My tailgate couldnt open from outside, only from the inside after taking the cover off. Got tired of opening from inside, so I did some research on youtube and it was kind of easy replacing it. Had doubts on this product since it was way cheaper than the original. 3 to 4 times cheaper!.. its been a few months and still working! I got my tools in my trunk so I open my tailgate like 6 times a day! X 6 days per week.. A veryyyyyy few times i had to slam tail gate a bit to close it but cant compain with that price!!

Doesn't get power
Bought this to replace the OEM trunk actuator after checking everything I thought the issue could be. Replaced the actuator with this, didn't work. So I'm thinking maybe it's the sign of a bigger problem. I leave it for a while and finally take it to a mechanic only to find out this actuator I bought wasn't getting power when they fed power directly to this. Nothing was wrong with my electronics. I gotta say I'm pretty frustrated by this. I was right in figuring out what the issue was but the replacement part i got was bunk.
