I'm confused. Toilet seal is a toilet seal. Until I see all the p/n from the same vendor. Now I wonder if there is a specific one for each toilet?

To the best of my knowledge, the size of your waste pipe is what really determines the size flange you need. Most are 4x3 (4 inch top down to a 3 inch pipe). The extra wax just helps to seal the toilet, especially if there's a greater than normal height between the pipe and the toilet. You'll likely have to trim a little wax off the top or just remove extra that oozes out the sides when you put the toilet in. Good luck!

Will I need to buy bolts when I purchase this toilet? Or will the wax ring I intend to buy be sufficient. I'm a dummy about toilets.

This is just the wax ring. You need to buy the bolts separately. The bolts that are existing on your toilet are probably no good.

Greetings this particular item model number does NOT come with the needed Brass bolts and screws. The manufacturer therefore has it at a lower price by may be $3 to $4. But if you search under toilet wax and hardware's you will locate the same wax that manufacturer has the Brass bolts & nuts are included with a bit moderate higher price. Good luck.

will it cause issues if i use an extra thick wax ring if I dont really need one?

Well it depends on how much you use the bathroom toilet there The more you use it probably better off going with a thicker wax ring they are harder to install will cost more but they do provide a better seal if you don't install them right they will leave more so than the regular ones but the regular ones do break down faster
