This is a very functional cover to protect the BMW motorcycle FOB. I was shocked to find out there is no passcode or any other method to start the bike without the transmitter should anything happen to it while out riding. If you lose your transmitter, you will be towing your bike to the nearest BMW dealer for a new $399 transmitter. This cover feels very good in the hand and still allows easy operation of the buttons. I do carry my FOB on a carabiner clip fastened to the belt loop on my left side, so I cannot say how well this cover works as far as access from inside a pocket.

Throws a code on the bike when the key is placed on the tank compartment saying the bikes key isn’t in range and will not restart. Bike starts every time just fine but the code is annoying. Dealer says the key cover prevents proper feedback to the bike. 2023 GSA1250.

This key fob protector is is excellent and fits perfectly. I have a 2022 BMW motorcycle and it covers the fob nice and snug, and allows the fob's pop-out key to work as intended. The protector is a made of a neoprene like feeling material and matches the contours, buttons and key ring holes exactly.
