What is the jar itself made from? Is it glass or plastic?

The Jar is made from recyclable plastic, so you can utilize it accordingly or reuse it for other purposes - e.g. refilling with other powdery products.

Hi, does this have a kick to it as my children don't like anything which is too hot 😩? Thank you

Hi! Thank you for the question. Our Ultimate Rub blend has a bit of chili. However, it’s very moderate and balanced with brown sugar and the rest of the main ingredients. It bites a little bit but doesn’t burn, especially when applied in a moderate amount.
