Added this to my list of anti-inflammatory supplements after doing a bit of research. I found these to be high quality, higher dose omega 3 pills. The pills are the normal, large fish oil sized pills. They do have a slight odor and taste, but do go down easy. The fish burps do kick in after about an hour but I honestly don’t see how you can take fish oil and not have any sort of aftertaste. These are great for someone who is looking for heart health, anti-aging and anti-inflammatory supplements!

I generally take 3 capsules with a meal with some type of fat in it to support better digestion of the oils. It is vital that with this or any other product that you take it with a meal containing a fat to help better absorb it. The pills are not too large, and they offer a large amount of DHA and EPA, so people who do intensive workout training can reach daily levels of Omega-3 supplementation. If you aren't an athlete, and just looking for general supplementation, you can definitely take less than the recommended amount, which will make the product last much longer! The capsules have no fishy or oily smell. The capsules come very well packaged in a sealed bottle. One issue I have found with this Omega-3 supplement, as well as with every other I've tried, is that it does cause Fishy tasting burps. I've found that freezing the capsules and taking them right out of the freezer helps prevent this side effect from happening. Over all i'd highly recommend this product as an Omega-3 supplementation for athletes, and for your general health.

I trust Nutricost and use couple of their other supplements, so I decided to give their Omega a try as well, so far it's good. It does leave a bit of a fisy taste in my mouth for a while after taking it, but that happens with most omegas so I don't really mind. Overall i am happy with the product.

Omega 3 oils from fish are ideal supplements but those that ARE NOT labeled EPA (and that's NOT the environmental protection agency) for REAL fish oil give you a better price but an inferior product as they use oils from other sources. These are the genuine article at a reasonable price.
