This is exactly what I needed! This is not for a novice so be prepared to put in a little work. All in all, it was a good investment and I would buy this item again.

This was a great deal for a kit that also included 3 different guitar picks! It was all packaged well and arrived quickly and without any damage. Not sure what the photo is showing that looks like a stack of sand paper pieces, but know that sand paper works better than the filing stone included with this kit. I used 110 grit sand paper and had a lot of sanding to do to make the nut fit my small Baby Taylor guitar. My Baby now sounds like a bigger guitar! I also replaced the plastic bridge pins with boxwood pins. Really happy with the look and sound!

I used this to replace the plastic bridge saddle I had on my 1968 Cmar Dove, which is a Law Suit copy of the Gibson Dove. Fits very well and sounds great! If you need longer sustain, better tone or just replacing an old bridge saddle this is the one you will want. You should measure before purchasing this so you know it will fit. The Sand Paper is great too in case you need to lower the height of saddle or make it thinner to fit your bridge saddle slot tightly. It is also compensated so you should get the best tone out of your guitar.

Just what I needed. The sand paper, polishing cloth and picks are a great feature. The saddle was a big upgrade for my son's guitar!! Have not used the nut yet but plan to on the next change of strings. Great product. Highly recommend.

Very nice saddle and nut combo, made my guitar sounding way brighter and sustained significantly longer. Be aware of the size and dimension of each because the saddle is a little shorter in length than my bridge, I have an Epiphone PR-150

Very nice but piece but if you want anything but a slide guitar then be prepared to spend hours sanding

It took some work, but I got the nut to fit. The hardest part about this is sanding it down evenly. After a bit, I realized that I had sanded the nut unevenly on one corner. If I had gone any farther before I caught it, I would have ruined it. Other than the sanding, it is a great product. It is a better nut than the one I replaced on my Alvarez by far.
