Consistently Work, Tough Build, Great Colors
This is my second time ordering the Urgrette 4-pack of Butane Torch Lighters here on Amazon. Flame producing devices really dislike where I live. Anything involving combustion in our thin air here at 11,000 ft is questionable. The low oxygen density renders most compressed gas lighters non functional. If you get lucky, your lighter will work a couple of times before its internal flame spreader suffers failure from the higher temperatures resulting from burning butane in a low oxygen environment. Combine the low air density with less than highly processed butane and you waste your money on most lighting devices. I will occasionally pretend to smoke a cigar with friends on special occasions (one friend and his wife have a new baby that he delivered while waiting on an ambulance for hospital transport) and cigars need big ignition sources. The Urgrette torch lighters are the only lighters I’ve found to be reliable at this elevation. I use mine for lighting our charcoal grill, my portable shop heaters, starting the old wood burning stove in winter, and that occasional cigar. The lighters are made from a high quality aluminum alloy with a top color coating. This material is built to last and it looks great. The aluminum alloy itself is quite durable and the internal flame generating mechanisms don’t fall apart like many lesser quality lighters. The four pack comes with four lighters, each in a designer color. You get one each in red, black, silver, and gold. Operation is straightforward. Fill its reservoir with butane (see below), adjust for flame height, and press up on the igniter. Rarely does the igniter fail to ignite the butane, generally taking only a single press to start. The torch lighters do exhibit some sensitivity to cold and if left in low temperatures for an extended period, they may refuse to ignite. If this happens, I place the lighter under my leg or in my pocket do my body temperature warms to whole unit. Once the lighter has warmed, it’ll start right up. Flame height is controlled by a flip up rotating control at the base of torch. Before adjusting, move the device away from your face. Its flame size is quite long when set to its highest setting. Refilling is equally easy. For best results, take the time to release any unused gaseous butane in the torch by pressing in on the input fill nozzle with a paper clip or small screwdriver. Warning, if liquid fuel remains in the reservoir, sudden release will vent an extremely cold combination of liquid and gaseous butane. It’s cold enough to burn and that frostbite burn isn’t pleasant, so please exercise caution. Further, failing to release the fuel reservoir pressure could adversely affect your ability to refill the tank and the torches ability to operate normally. To complete your refill, use a highly refined butane fuel, hold the butane can upside down, insert the tip into the bottom of the lighter, insuring both are aligned vertically, press and hold in three second bursts. Repeat three to four times and then verify fill via visual inspection through the furl window on the torch. The four-pack means you can share your lighters with friends and that’s exactly what I did for my friend’s new baby celebration. Just be prepared, everyone can’t have the red lighter. I claimed it when I opened the box to hand them out! The four pack is priced modestly and the cost per unit is downright inexpensive when you consider that it works reliably and will last. To me, that’s value. It beats the heck out of wasting twice the price per unit buying something locally that you are all but guaranteed to have not function. I WILL purchase them again.

Way better than expected and worth the price!
I have been looking for a stick or candle style butane torch lighter for a while now. They always seemed to have a more precise flame. A flame that could be aimed at a specific spot and hit without a lot of collateral damage of nearby items. Trying to heat a specific spot of plastic to be able to position it without the whole thing being heated and falling over. I was ordering a couple of other things so I searched for this type lighter. I found a few and then compared them looking at price and reviews. I guess I had put one in my shopping cart already because when my order arrived there were two boxes of four torches. I checked the order. Yup, I ordered two boxes, I hope they're good. WOW! Are they ever! Filling them is very easy. Unlike all the other torches I have used, there is very little escaped butane during the refueling process. Since less butane is escaping, I don't have to buy as much butane. At just over $4.00 per torch, I have saved money (normal prices have been $10-30). They are also lasting longer than others that I have tried, so I have not needed to replace any. Warning: One seemed to have grown legs and walked away. Adjusting the flame is super easy, too. Around the refill nozzle is a half-loop that can be popped out with a finger nail. Then, a simple turn to the left or right will either reduce or increase the flame. The ignition switch is an easy slide up. When trying to angle down to heat some solder between pieces of metal it is a lot easier than trying to slide a switch back. The precision of the flame is better than I have been experiencing by far, but I still looking for the torch of my imagination. I have one in my kitchen that I have used to melt sugar on a dessert and it worked great. I have used it to toast marshmallows just because I wanted a toasted marshmallow (and one leads to another and another). I tried toasting Fluff on a pie. The toasting went well, the pie looked and tasted great. The next day when I wanted another piece, I found that the Fluff did not stayed on the pie. It had flowed into the void of the missing pieces. My only complaint would be the window to see the fuel level. The inside of the fuel tank is dark making it difficult to judge the level during the later hours of the day unless in a bright room. If there was another window on the opposite side, it might make the fuel level easier to see. My last comment about these torches would be: I wish I had not gifted the other box of four to friends.

These are very nice .
As normal the lifespan of the ones that we get on Amazon aren't exactly top of the line the lighter is made quality it functions quite nicely especially at the beginning it's a heck of a lot cheaper than store brands the colors are vibrant but transparent the flame quality is good especially at first. At full capacity holds a fair amount of gas. The ignitions in these don't seem to be quite worth the clicks that a normal store priced one would would have. Their design is pretty standard and have the same feel as store brand. it doesn't feel like it's going to slip out of your hand. and it has a very high concentrated heat level. A free Tibet would be to turn a lighter completely to minimum flip lighter upside down press down with a pen to release the excess air and the lighter chamber. Repeat this every couple of Phill ups that way you can clear the air in fill it Fuller with gas. Otherwise you have perpetually empty-ish gas chamber but don't overdo it. The practice is called purging and must be learned if you're going to dable in refillable butane torch lighters.

Great value.
Nice little bundle of torches, good flame, lights 1st try ( so far). Kind of small gas reservoir. Sight glass kind of hard to see, and sometimes takes a few seconds for flame to extinguish when button released. Though I've seen that happen on much more expensive lighters, overall great purchase, I'd order from the company again without doubt. Great value. Imo

These are my favorite!
I have ended up buying these probably eight times over the last 10 years and I'm never disappointed. If you have an issue they will make it right. The customer service is always very responsive. These lighters are reliable and beautiful and I get compliments all the time. Unbelievably awesome value for money. The flame is adjustable from small to large and is great for lighting Sarah's in the wind

You regret this but you do it anyways?
Ok I’m conflicted with these lighters. Does anyone else notice the company name spells you regret? And after six to eight weeks of using the torch for three minutes straight once or twice and the lighter will quit working or, the flame will have dreams of being bic lighter and mimic the flame and stop being a torch! But dude, I had these lighters in every color I could find between honest and urrgrette brands. They go with my outfits and personality esp the hi vis green yellow one (which I recently lost 😔)! They are different and stylish and masculine! lol toxic masculinity since it’s phallic shaped. But damn I love these lighters. I gave one to everyone in the crew and they all lost them!!! But I love these lighters and even with the fact they are very cheaply made, cheaply sold, and cheaply assembled by the lowest bidder in china! But they were made for me!!! So no one else can buy one haha!!! lol I also sell them for five to ten bucks depending on color and ease of use. But you should buy this lighter for no reason other than none of your friends have one and laying this on the table like you just saved the world with it goes hard. It’s a drop-the-mic type of statement which I don’t recommend dropping this at all it voids the warranty! Buy these lighters! Collect them! Put them in a special box and show them off to unimpressed friends who are now judging you cause you thought it cool to say the words: “check out my lighter collection” to other adults enjoy we’re unimpressed by a “LIGHTER COLLECTION” that another grown man actually thought it wise to waste so much money on these lighters when he has real bills due but somehow a “lighter collection” made the budget? Lol In closing it’s a great torch. Ergonomic even. It’s roughly the size of a dollar bill has a fuel window which is a must when I buy a torch. It has an easy to use flame adjuster on the bottom but lighter experiences difficulty in use when flame is too high or too low. It’s only ten bucks and you get more than one which is good cause your friends are going to steal one or you’ll lose one! lol But this lighter. And I will adopt a homeless cat for each one purchased! Lol

No siempre funciona la chispa
Me ha sucedido con tres de los seis (porque solo he probado esos) que de cada 5 intentos de encenderlo, solo 1 o 2 veces funciona la chispa que lo prende.
