This sewing kit has already come in handy a few times. It has some great materials in it that are very functional. I wish that it had come with a few more needles that had larger eyes... that took a heavier thread and were a little easier to thread. But it is a great set... and it was a really good price too...

This is a fantastic kit. I bought it because I am a way beginner and I wanted to learn how to mend a few things around the house myself, starting with my son's favorite stuffed animal. The thread color array is perfect. It has exactly the colors I was looking for for the projects that I want to do. All the tools are handy. They all come packed neatly and cleanly in a case. It scratched my brain in a lovely way when I opened the case and saw how everything was arranged. I'm no sewing expert of course, but the thread I used was sturdy and of good quality. The array of needle sizes were awesome. I would highly recommend this kit!

I absolutely love this sewing kit. It literally has everything I need for sewing. I love the wide variety of colored threads and needle sizes.

It was more expensive than I’d have liked and it is packed full of stuff I don’t need; however, the thread is really good & even the stuff I don’t is of good quality. I like the variety of needle sizes. Extra buttons & snaps are nice to have. I don’t need this much thread but you’d spend more than the cost of the whole kit to buy them individually. I’ve had small kits but the thread has been of poor quality.

You get a lot of fun stuff in this kit, and it's packed for easy use. As others have said, it's especially good for beginners because it includes plenty of basic gear. I didn't expect to receive great scissors at this price point, and indeed they're nothing to brag about. Good enough, but not great. I hoped to replace the included scissors with scissors I already own and like, but there isn't really room for my better scissors, which are considerably bigger than what came in the kit. The measuring tape is pretty flimsy too, but at least it's there and it works. The thread does look nice, and I love the way it's displayed under the elastic straps. That's worth the price of the kit for me in itself, and when you add the handy selection of needles and other tidbits, it's a good purchase.
