Vocal Helper
This pedal adds a variety of helpful features for vocals, including EQ modes, three kinds of reverb, three kinds of delay, and of course, pitch correction. The pitch correction is subtle. You aren't going to get Auto-tuned vocals out of it, but it will help if you slightly flub a note. There are a variety of routing options to allow you to have an instrument pass through to detect the key of your music for the pitch correction. There are also options to route both instrument and vocals either through the 1/4" or XLR output. I found that with the signals merged, the instrument was far louder than the microphone, even with the microphone gain turned all the way up, so if you plan to to use a single output, you may need to attenuate your instrument signal or further boost the microphone signal prior to this pedal. Using separate inputs posted no problem, and the phantom power worked well. This could be useful simply as an easy source of phantom power for those cases where it is not otherwise available. The reverbs and delays sound very nice, but only the reverb can be used on the instrument signal, while both can be used on the vocal. Overall, this is a very useful toolkit for vocals featuring most functions you would need on most all the time with a good selection options.

FLAMMA FV02 Doubling and FV03 Character Vocal Pedals
The Flamma FV02 Doubling and FV03 Character pedals are very useful pedals that can inspire creativity and fun! Each provides its own unique spin on vocal alteration. With the FV02 Doubling, you can double your voice or have an ensemble of you. Or, you can add a pitch shifted version of yourself, either as a baby voice or an octave down voice, or both! The FV02 gives a chorusing effect. With the FV03 Character, the first setting pitches your voice a tritone down, perfect for a horror vocal voiceover. Or, you can pitch your voice up an octave to female or baby timbres. Or, you can have a vocoded robot drone in three varieties and sing a melody over it. The Blend knob will allow you to blend your natural voice in as much as you like. Both pedals can add reverb to your vocals, available in three types, which all sound very nice. Both pedals have a nice option of disabling only the vocal mode effect (indicator around switch turns red) while keeping the reverb, or double click to turn both effects off (unlit). The guitar input is designed to give your guitar a little bit of reverb shimmer and works best with an acoustic-electric or clean electric sound, but you could certainly run your guitar into a distortion pedal then into the Doubling if you wanted some distortion. I wouldnโt distort your sound after the doubler because youโll want to keep the reverb clean and crisp. One tip: Donโt let your input signal be too hot. I had the best results using an external mic preamp with output volume set fairly low. With this setup, you would switch the XLR input to line. The other useful option is just to plug your mic directly into the pedal. I used a good dynamic mic and set the gain about halfway on the Doubling and 2/3 on the Character. Use a small flathead screwdriver to turn the gain knob. Be careful not to set the input gain too high or you will get a very loud, nasty squeal back! The enclosures seem sturdy, and I love the vibrant colors! All in all, these are nice pedals that can add some creative effects once you learn how to use them.

What it is and isn't...
If you're reading reviews you want to know if it will work for you, right? First, I will explain what it isn't. This pedal isn't studio quality at all. There is some noise in the vocal processing. There seems to be a build in compression that is always on. This makes the vocal sound a little squished. If you have a very dynamic voice it might get on your nerves. The reverb on the vocal cuts off when it reaches a certain level of decay I listened through a decent quality sound system and through a recording interface with headphones. Through the headphones it's hard to listen to. But for sound coming out of a speaker it's not really that bad. The reverb is usable. The doubling and pitch effects can add extra dimension if used conservatively. So, here's what it is. This is a good tool for a solo guitarist busker type to combine the mic and guitar into a single output while adding some effects to the sound. On a street corner, coffee shop or other noisy environment the shortcomings in sound quality will likely not be noticed. Even if you don't use the effects, the ability to combine a guitar and mic into a single output is useful for portable speakers that only have one, usually 1/4, input jack available.

Not good
I purchased it to see if it stands up to all the buzz about it out there. I am a pro audio engineer with 20+ years of experience. No, it does not work as well as advertised. Starting from the manual that is very simple in description of it's features and no eplanation on hidded features and how to fully activate them. The tuning/correction function does not work well at all and adds a chorus slap bacl delay to the vocals when turned up. For everybody looking for AutoTune processing this pedal can't do it even close to AutoTune let alone giving you the hard effect. Sorry but back to the work desk and try again.

Not ready for performance grade!
Very difficult to dial in! Itโs a harmony pedal and seems to be always hunting for the correct note. This not my first experience. You could tweak it for a few minutes for a song, but the dynamics of the next song would be off. Works best with manual key selection, but as a performer, I canโt reach down to adjust for each song. There are also no detents on the key selector which also complicates settings.

Stay on Pitch and Add Additional Voices/Harmonies to Your Live Performances
FV01: The main feature of this pedal is pitch correction, but it also includes a reverb effect, delay effect (with tap-tempo), 3 vocal tone settings (EQ), a gain knob, a switch for optional 48v phantom power, guitar input and output (with reverb effect for the guitar's signal), a switch for mixed or individual signal with the microphone and guitar, etc. It's really quite a versatile tool. I set this up in my home studio space and tried using both the XLR in/out for the microphone and the guitar in/out. I originally had the microphone plugged into a PA, but since the FV01 can also work as a mic preamp, it works perfectly well coming through the guitar amplifier. The reverb and delay effect are really great and are so easy to adjust to the perfect setting. The vocal tone (middle button) options are normal, warm, and bright. Warm suited me the best. The settings on the back are simple to adjust, and depending on your setup and how you want to use the pedal, that will help you decide how to utilize these settings. Now, onto the main effect. The way the pitch correction works for the FV01 is to correct your pitch to the nearest note. So, of you are close to where you should be, you may hardly notice a difference in the output. But if you're way off, you'll hear that "autotune" sound. And if you are so far off, your voice will be corrected to a different pitch than may be desired. This is not any criticism of the pedal. I just state these points to help a user get the best results from the FV01. I have used this pedal in a live setting and I'm pretty impressed with how well everything works out. It's especially nice for when you cannot hear yourself. I have had issues staying on pitch when I cannot hear myself. But when I created a simulation, the pitch correction worked great. FV02: See the attached demo video for my comments. Both pedals include a power supply, which is really nice. I also tested them with a One-Spot daisy-chained with a couple of other pedals. There was no major noise from the pedals and both are now added to my gigging pedalboard.

FLAMMA FV01 Vocal Effects Processor Pitch Correction Voice Pedal
It is a great vocal preamp and having both reverb and delay is great and it is a solid piece of equipment. The small size is great as I can keep in right next my multi track. The different warm selectins is nice. I don't rum my guitar through it as I have an acoustic amp. XLR in and outs is great for low noise level, so this unit has a variety of capabilities. I don't use the voice correction but it is yet another nice effect making it a variety of effects when you add it all up. I also think it is fairly priced.

Surprisingly Robust Vocal Effects Pedal at a Reasonable Price
I've tried loads of guitar pedals, from Amazon imports to boutique American brands, so when I saw the Flamma FV02 I wasn't sure what to think. Price-wise it sits sort of in between the two extremes, somewhere around 120$. I think you could be fooled by its appearance into categorizing it with the Ammoons, Gokkos, and Amazon Basics of the world, but this Flamma line incorporates a lot of features you would expect from higher end products. It sports a soft footswitch, both XLR and 1/4 ins and outs with options how to mix the signals, a ground lift switch, a subtle digital reverb and a number of voice doubling functions (I imagine this goes for the entire FV Line, just replace Doubling with Harmonizing or whatever). I also really like their proprietary LED placement and interface. It looks cool and offers some more switching options than your usual ON/OFF switch. Sound quality is pretty much in line with what you'd expect from a modern digital pedal. The effects themselves aren't radical, but they will definitely fatten up a voice and the minimal controls do let you shape the sound fairly effectively. The power draw is on the high end requiring a stated 500ma. I'm not sure if that's entirely necessary or just to have high headroom but if you're trying to power it from a daisy chain or other guitar pedal power supply just be sure you have an output that can support that. Fortunately Flamma provides a Wallwart power supply if you don't mind dedicating an outlet to this pedal. I think the only part that is kind of disappointing is the graphic design of the FV02. I realize this is subjective and has no impact what so ever on the functionality, but it kind of looks like it was assembled in clip art and as I mentioned earlier does a real disservice to a quality product by making it look a bit cheap. All that being said I think you would have a hard time finding a similar feature set anywhere else for under 200$.

Waited longer than expected
Good pedal. There are problems with the background (I don't know how to remove the excess reverb yet). But it's worth it. You will succeed if you don't sing out of tune๐. I'm singing with a band, it sounds good. The pedal greatly enhanced the sound of the arrangement

Flamma Character: mic input (XLR) only!
Flamma Character: voice effects only work via mic input (XLR). There is a guitar input (1/4) but as it turns out, it only can be used for those very limited reverb effects. This was kind of a major disappointment. Yes, I get it know, I should have read the name of the pedal better, but I couldn't even assume that a guitar pedal with a 1/4 input can be that limited! I wish Flamma woudn't even release this pedl like that, it's just too confusing. And as for the vocal effects, they're kind of meh. I'm a sax player, and I use a lot of guitar pedals. Was really looking forward to this one, as I play lots of heavy dub. With the exception of one effect (4th, robot), all the other ones are.. not very good, in my opinion. Maybe they'll work better for other people, but not for me. And there is latency. It's not crazy, it's manageable, but it's there.

Very good pedal, replaced my more expensive, more complicated gear
A pretty much perfect clone of the slightly more expensive competitor. I used a lot of vocal effects that were waaay more complicated to tune in but in 90% of the scenarios, this will do everything a singer needs it to. The reverb and pitch correction is subtle and pleasant and the pedal is one of the easiest to to set up with only a few dials. I love this thing, it gave me the confidence to do back ups and even sing 2 or 3 songs in my garage band.
