I originally thought these were too small. Even when they arrived, I looked at them and thought that they were too small. I started a return but then decided to give it a try and it was pretty simple to fill them and close them and the size is perfect. I’m the kind of person that loves to eat ice but I hate when it’s too big and something about this year of this ice makes it really enjoyable. I also feel a little bit of luxury when I am putting the ice cubes in my glass because they’re so tiny cute. 95% of the ice comes out perfect. I canceled my return and I’m super happy with the purchase.

With the heat being what it is and a house full of Hydro-Flasks we go through ice much faster than my little Frigidaire ice-maker can keep up with. My freezer has intermittently stopped making ice for us almost since the purchase date. We finally gave up on it and bought a free-standing Frigidaire ice-maker from Costco. It was a great price and works great. The only problem is even though it produces pretty quickly, It just can’t meet the demand for ice in my household. The other problem is that since the new ice-cubes are produced so quickly, they melt away quickly as well. I had been on the hunt for some GOOD ice making trays for a while. Something with a lid to keep the ice clean and free from any kind of freezer food debris. My daughter sent me the link to these, I read the reviews and clicked purchase. The trays arrived the next day. Everything was in great condition and odor free. I had read so many reviews on other trays where people said the chemical odor and TASTE was overwhelming. So when these arrived that’s the first thing I checked for. I washed them out with soap, water and a touch of bleach to be safe. I used bottled water to fill them. (I use water bottles kept in the fridge, this helps freeze the spheres more quickly) I followed the directions that were included and incorporated some clues I found in the reviews by other customers. I filled them up just a bit past the fill-line (this is just over 1/2 of a16 ounce water bottle) and kept an eye out for the little spouts of water that pop up when you place the tops on. Four hours later…oops a little too soon. Gave them a full 8 hours to solidify…perfect little solid spheres! The ice balls were pretty easy to remove. To get them out I twist slightly from side-to-side and flip over to empty the contents right into the container that is conveniently included with the trays. Both trays will fill the storage container about halfway. The ice-balls are very solid. I filled my 40 ounce Hydro-Flask to the top with the perfect little spheres, added a bottle of cold water from the refrigerator and went about my day. A full 24 hours and a couple of water refills later, I still had about 1/4 of the flask left with in tact ice. No chemical taste or smell. I love these trays. I just placed an order for a second set. With the economy being what it is, I can really stand to cut some corners. After the second set arrives I will be able to unplug my faithful little Frigidaire and give it and my electricity bill a little break. These trays are a great little investment. If I had more freezer space I would buy a couple more!

I liked the size and shape of the ice balls—they come out really nice and look great in drinks. However, the tray is quite difficult to open, which makes it less convenient to use. Overall, good idea and result.

Perfect size for coffee ice cubes. We love ice coffee, but dislike it when it gets diluted by regular ice cubes. Easy to use trays and storage container is not too big. Overall very good product.

When you're obsessive-compulsive to the point that you research what size and shape your ice should be, you have problems - but with these trays, great ice isn't one of them. Spherical ice is where it's at - it's science. And if, like me, you can't afford one those new $3000 refrigerators that makes them automagically, these trays are quite the bargain. It took me few tries to get the exact amount of water to make sure they all come out fully-formed, but after that it was easy (tip: fill the trays way up, even if a ton of water comes out of the little holes and fills a good portion of the top side of the tray lid - it beats trying to fill to the little lines inside and getting some that aren't perfect). The container it comes with is nice and holds a decent amount, even though I'm considering getting a much bigger one so I can have a ridiculous amount of ice-balls on-hand. I like that it has a lid. Did you know ice will absorb air and odors from inside your fridge and freezer? Keep some fish sticks in your freezer for too long and your ice will start to taste like fish. So that lid helps keep the ice fresh. And the little scoop that's included, though at first seems too small, is actually the perfect size for the little balls. As others have mentioned, I love the fact that you can easily push a straw through a big chunk of these guys floating in the top of your beverage, and that the shape doesn't form a dam at the edge of your glass blocking the liquid from going into your mouth (when not using a straw). Who would have thought the shape of your ice could bring such delight?

It's good and does its purpose but the lid that comes with doesn't fully click and close it just sits on top and the lid comes off at the slightest move. Would love for the container to be better, wish I wouldve known!

Love the Ive tray it is durable and makes super cool circular ice cubes. Filling it is super easy and there is a fill line to help you with perfect filling.

I love these cubes; they are so cute and the perfect size. I drink more water now because I'm always chewing them. The tray is a smart design and it is extremely durable. I dropped it and didn't hurt the tray at all. This is an excellent investment if you like ice with personality!
