Amazing game with a small flaw
The game came in quickly as promised, no issues. If you like classic games like pacman, and dig-dug, this is something similar, but with a story of it's own, and more things to learn on how to play. You have a decent number of characters to play with, and more to unlock for beaten certain levels, or the full game with specific characters. While Cadence, the default character you start with plays the game normally with all weapons and armor accessible, others have limits to the weapons they can use, and others even armor, making each characters game unique, and the others at times much harder, if not seemingly impossible. While the gameplay isn't too hard once you know what you are doing, and the music in it is to die for, there is one small thing I didn't like. While the game doesn't have a very strong story, in order to get the full story, you must beat the game with 3 specific characters, and the 3rd one, Aria, is most likely impossible to beat, since using her requires you cannot take more than 2 hits, and if you miss a beat moving, you take one. I am sure I am gonna get laughed at for complaining about this by expert players, but I think that challenge should have been left for another character that wasn't important to the story to unlock a special character or something. I would recommend looking up a quick video before buying this game to see if you think you can get into the gameplay. The gameplay is fun, but chances are most people won't be able to enjoy the full story with that last character's difficulty thrown in. Besides that point, the gameplay is fun and addicting, and you get some dlc added in free, with more characters, and and an extra one with their own story, and 1 additional level from the original. The game also has a neat feature where you can switch a character's skin to another one, unrelated to the game itself, like you can play through Cadence's story using Junko Enoshima and Monokuma from Danganronpa, and some other characters. Also, while the game uses lights to let you know you are on beat with your movements and shakes the screen, in the event you are epeliptic, you can turn the lights off, or disable the shaking, so you can still enjoy the game. I bought the game for 20.00 new, and despite the one flaw, it was totally worth it for me!
