Excellent sound and app

This is a great bit of hardware, intuitive and easy to setup. I found the onboard DAC to be good with great clarity through my Rega Amp. Hooked this up also via Topping E30 DAC and noticed no difference in audio quality. However whilst using direct via RCA cables I encountered a problem with the display intermittently switching on and every 30-60 seconds. Even when not activating proximity sensor. Bluesound offered good support but admitted it was likely to be a faulty unit. Unit is being returned and I’m debating whether to order a replacement putting down my experience to bad luck.

Precision instrument!!! bluesound is best but i had to pay in installments which was ok. any remote can be converted. but had no interface screen. What is best with this is the SUBWOOFER OUT!!!! whereby your sub can detect signal even mine was 9 feet out no issues. cons: does not agree with some DACS like the chinese ones like Denafrips … it lags on movie dialogue by 1 second. 3.5 rating

In the interests of transparency, I did not buy this item on Amazon because I got it cheaper on Ebay from an Italian supplier. That said, this unit is simply beautiful. On removing it from from the box I was struck by the build quality and aesthetics of this thing. It's a lovely to behold and to physically hold. Connection to my gear and home network was simplicity itself and after downloading the control app I was soon up and running. I use lossless Amazon Prime Music Unlimited and am a major fan of Billie Eilish.. Not a sonically challenging young lady but, so what, I love her voice and the stuff she and her brother Finneas create. Fantastic! My gear is not so top end but I have not an pair of cheap Spendor A9s (which I love) and a 1985 Pioneer A757 which together deliver some truly outstanding sounds. I began to hear things I was missing even from my Technics CD transport. ABBA's "Visitors" reportedly the very first digitally recorded album is sonically fabulous and, if you knock ABBA you have no idea what you're missing. I suggest you take some time to check out this in every way outstanding album. I also have a pair of 1975 Scan Dyna A40's and a Pioneer SC LX86 AV amp, plus a pair of budget Wharfedale Diamond 9.1's. The Node 2021 revealed so much detail I had previously been missing. I love this product and consider it a truly worthwhile purchase.

FANTASTICO!!! Non tanto economico, ma quando lo si toglie dalla confezione ci si rende subito conto di avere in mano un prodotto molto serio e di alta qualità. Molto carino anche il sensore di prossimità. Ma ciò che sicuramente lo rende un passo davanti ai suoi rivali è sicuramente la sua App BluOS, stabilissima e semplicissima. Come libreria esterna ho utilizzato un SSD Samsung T5 da 1 Tera tramite USB. Oltre alle centinaia di radio internet gratuite e i molteplici servizi a pagamento come Tidal, Spotify etc., è compresa gratuitamente Radio Paradise che trasmette file MQA e che ho apprezzato tantissimo. Qualità audio in cuffia sorprendente e collegato al mio impianto a valvole in classe A .. senza parole. Questa nuova versione che sostituisce la precedente Node 2i monta il nuovo DAC PCM5242, non so come possa suonare con un DAC esterno di livello superiore. Ottimo servizio di consegna e imballaggio. Lo consiglio!

Ce lecteur reseau est une merveille . Une mise en service d'une facilité déconcertante, un boîtier qui respire la qualité et musicalement une claque et il n'est pas rodé! Une application ultra simple et conviviale. Ne chercher pas plus loin !

Wer ein tolles Klangerlebnis für einen verhältnismäßig guten Preis sucht, landet zwangsläufig beim Bluesound Node. Meine Bewertung bezieht sich ausschließlich auf das Streaming von Hi-Res über Netzwerk an meiner HiFi-Anlage. Ich suchte einen audiophilen Netzwerkplayer für meine HiFi-Anlage bestehend aus Rotel A14 MKII,CD11 Tribute und B&W CM9 S2. Es ging mir nur um das Streaming von Tidal Master über Netzwerk. Ich möchte wegen der verlustfreien Wiedergabe weder Bluetooth noch AirPlay 2 benutzen, obwohl der Bluesound auch das unterstützt. Dabei kam es mir hauptsächlich auf die Klangqualität an. Habe mehrere Netzwerkplayer zum Test bestellt und Klang sowie Bedienung für meine Ansprüche verglichen. U.a. Cambridge CXN V2 und WIIM Pro, umd alle erschwinglichen Preisklassen abzudecken. Der Node konnte in allen Belangen überzeugen. Er ist hochwertig verarbeitet, bietet Klanglich dank hochwertiger DAC eine breite Bühne und sorgte beim Probehören oftmals für ein breites Lächeln bei mir. Wohlgemerkt mit meiner HiFi- Kette. Die Bedienung und Einrichtung über die Blu-Os-App war spielend einfach. Es sind sämtliche Streamingdienste vertreten. Somit muss man sich über den Netzwerkplayer keine Gedanken machen, möchte man mal den Anbieter wechseln bzw. wenn man auch mehrere Anbieter nutzt. Ebenso ist ein Netzwerktuner mit unzähligen Lokalen und Internationalen Radiosendern integriert, die hochauflösend übertragen. Habe nur 2 kleine Kritikpunkte. 1. Es könnte die integrierte Tidal-App etwas Benutzerfreundlicher sein. 2. Ich würde ich mir wünschen, den Player separat ausschalten zu können Klar gibt es Netzwerkplayer, die das alles in dieser Qualität auch oder noch eine Nuance besser können. Die Kosten jedoch auch mindestens das doppelte. Habe beispielsweise einen Cambridge CXN V2 gegen den Node verglichen.Der Unterschied war für meine Ohren so gering, das ich nicht bereit war, das doppelte zu investieren. Der WIIM Pro spielte einfach nur Flach, egal welche Klangeinstellung ich gewählt hatte. Dem war der Node haushoch überlegen. Abschließend kann ich nur sagen, mich hat der Node begeistert. Ein zur Zeit Unschlagbares Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Korrektur: Den Player kann man ausschalten, indem man die Play-Taste auf dem Touchpad 5 Sekunden gedrückt hält. Für Amazon-Musik Nutzer: Die Bedienung des in Blue-Os integrierten Dienstes ist die reine Katastrophe. Ha,be den Bluesound jetzt mit einem hochwertigen Cinchkabel verbunden. Nochmals eine kleine Klangverbesserung. Bin nach mehreren Wochen Benutzung nach wie vor von dem Bluesound begeistert.

I use the Bluesound with a full digital system by Backes & Müller : ICE802 and two BML35. The analog output (then A/D converted by the ICE802) is nice but not to be compared to the digital output to the ICE. Open and clear, with great details, no noise at all, outstanding. The App is straightforward. Excellent price performance ratio. A recommendation without reserves.

Sono d’accordo con l’utente che ha scritto la prima recensione..Era da tempo che volevo passare alla liquida per problemi di spazio ma ero scettico…dac,lettore di rete,pc …troppo per un un ignorante di informatica come me,pertanto ho voluto provare “il pacchetto “ quasi completo del nuovo Node. Bellissimo aspetto, facilissimo da configurare ma.. un piccolo appunto alla sua App BluOS,non così immediata , inoltre con Amazon Music funziona quasi solo come telecomando, l’app originale e ‘ migliore e più completa.Altra piccola pecca ,visualizza solo il formato CD o HR generico nel caso di Hi-res ,Mqa con Radio Paradise. Ma a parte ciò che a me interessa relativamente la cosa più importante: COME SUONA!! Collegato ad un amplificatore per cuffie Lake People G100W , cuffie Sennheiser HD 660S e Fidelio X3 Amazon Music, ho cominciato ad ascoltare dischi che oramai pensavo di conoscere bene ed invece il Node mi ha fatto scoprire nuovi particolari,suono dettagliato,frizzante quel tanto che rende piacevole l’ascolto,finalmente ho sentito a parità di formato “CD” la liquida superiore al fisico..Suona bene anche la sua uscita cuffia ma con il Lake People la musica acquista più dettaglio e punch..Con Radio Paradise si ha la possibilità di ascoltare musica in formato Mqa ,formato che io non conoscevo e devo dire che al di là delle dispute tecniche rende l’ascolto piacevole . Sicuramente la scelta del Node nel mio caso è una scelta conservativa perché soprattutto nei primi tempi sarà tutta una ricerca,riscoperta di musica che conosco ma che non ho mai sentito suonare così!!
